Very spacious and stylishly furnished room in a beautiful house. Huge and comfortable bed and excellent shower. Quiet location next to the river but only 10 minutes walk to the village where there is an good Thai restaurant (Asiatic flavours). Great stop for cyclists on the Scandibérique cycle route as there is a garage for storing bikes. Amanda and Kevin were very friendly and helpful and work hard to run an excellent B&B

Everything was great

Everything. The property was beautiful and close to the lovely historical town of Confolens. Amanda and Kevin were excellent hosts being both friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size and had a beautiful view over the River Vienne. A delicious continental breakfast was provided. We would definitely return to 13Bees if we were in the area again. Excellent. Perfect.

Located along the river with easy access to the town centre of Confolons a few minutes walk. Lots of parking for cars but we arrived on bicycles which were accommodated in a secure garage. Very friendly hosts - made us immediately welcome with a cool drink. The rooms were lovely and spacious and we were lucky to have a river view. We were welcome to use the very spacious salon, which again overlooked the river. Continental breakfast provided with a good selection.

Nothing - we had a lovely stay and would go there again. We were made very welcome and didn't really want to move on!

Very large confortable bed, good breakfast, a haven after a long trip from overseas. Easy to walk into town.

Perhaps more than one croissant allowed per person at breakfast? But a minor suggestion only. Bear in mind there are stairs if you have heavy luggage.

lovely location by the river, a short walk into the town centre. the property itself is delightful, cosy rooms and comfortable, tastefully laid-out communal areas. and the fact that it plays host to bees just adds to the allure! Amanda and Kevin were fabulous, gracious hosts and couldn’t have been more accommodating. without doubt the best hosts by far that i have had on my cycle odyssey this far.

A very pleasant location by the river and a warm welcome. I wish I had more time to explore the town, I only needed an overnight stay. The room was spacious, nicely furnished and bright. I would definitely recommend it as a base to explore the area.

Where to start? Idyllic location, absolutely glorious house, wonderful views, and the honey at breakfast…….!!!! There isn’t a single thing I can say that is anything less than just superb. And that includes the hosts!

Delightful house, ideally situated overlooking the river, tastefully furnished; spacious, well-equipped bedroom with views over river. Wonderful, welcoming hospitality, lovely breakfast. Very peaceful and only ten minutes walk imto Confolens, itself a delightful little town. All absolutely superb, the place to stay in Confolens.

The (English) hosts were lovely, the bedroom was large and very peaceful, with a nice view. Lovely breakfast with homemade croissants and preserves. Easy walk into town
