Fantastic location next to the river in the La Restonica Valley. Hotel is beautifully built, lots of stone and marble. Nice heated pool and lots of outside places to sit and enjoy the beauty of the area. Free parking. Good breakfast. Situated outside of town on a narrow mountain road, the closest food within walking distance is about 600 mtrs along the road the the Arena hotel Le Refuge restaurant. (Excellent food, service and prices) Otherwise you have to drive into town. Staff doesn't seem to speak English, so brush up on your basic French and it will be fine for check in and getting coffee in the morning. Although it was raining for the 3 days we stayed, it was a very nice visit to the area and superb hotel. Wife really appreciated the bathtub after the Lac de Melo hike.

Gorgeous location, close to town, great Internet and air conditioning. Very clean, great cleaning staff. Two young servers at breakfast very welcoming. Fresh squeezed orange juice and lots of fruit at breakfast.

Two lead staff members were rude to customers. Powdered eggs at breakfast. No dinner restaurant (there was one up the road 600 meters—dangerous walk in the dark).

Beautiful location, next to a little mountain river. There is a very nice terrace next to the river, that helps you to enter the fresh water for a cool swim. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are also ok. The hotel is very close to Corte, and still in the middle of nature. We had an excellent breakfast here!

Very nice hotel directly on the road to the famous Restonica valley. The hotel has a very nice garden with a direct access to the river, own swimming pool, jacuzzi. They serve a very good breakfast. The rooms are quiet, beds comfortable.

To the old town approx 5 min by car, 15 min walking.

Nice location right at the beautiful river - easy acces from the hotel - quite unique. Good breakfast, charming Mornings by the river and tables to sit at outside.

The garden and terracce area closed at night around 8pm. No service or bar acces from then on - and with no balcony either we missed the option to go outside in the evening at the hotel area - you had to go to the city or neighbour hotels. Upside: Quiet evenings in the hotel. Hard to get service the rest of the day at the hotel bar, when staying by the pool: sometimes somebody was there, but not much - would have been Nice with staff there / Bell to ring. The cleaning and hotel in general was heavely fragrenced with air fresher/ perfumed - too much!

I really loved the location with direct access to the river. The room was ok so was breakfast. You also can enjoy swimming pool and jacuzzi with mountain view. They have a beautiful garden, but…,

They decided to close the doors to the garden as from9:00 pm! Which means that you cannot go outside to enjoy the garden in theevening and have a drink, on top of this you have no choice than retreat in your room and no possibility to dry your swimming clothes! The lady at the counter not at all friendly. One wouldn’t date to ask anything 😀

Housekeeping was swift and efficient, towels were replaced, and beds were made. The location of the river and town was lovely. The breakfast attendants were attentive and friendly.

Upon arrival we asked if breakfast was included, the male receptionist laughed and said, "Not at the price you paid through booking.com, you wasted a lot of money!" The female who seemed to run the place, a grumpy, blond lady seems like she needs a holiday. She locked us out one evening after telling us we couldn't be outside by the river after 7 pm. We had to climb a fence and she reprimanded us the next day for climbing over it to get inside--even though we noticed other staff members doing the same thing. Additionally, this lady watered the garden furniture at least twice a day-the cushions absorbed all the water and were constantly wet. The eggs always looked hazardously runny, and the breakfast meat was not the best quality. The croissants and yogurts, fruit, and cheese were good. We were also not "allowed" to bring in "picnics" which I assumed was outside food-even though there were fridges in the rooms. When the same lady saw my son eating a hamburger we had brought from town to eat at the river, the lady scowled and told us off (my French is not good enough to know what she said. We just nodded and walked to the river.
