The surroundings, the grasses, great pool area and walks for the dogs. Liked the bikes and kids had an amazing time on their bikes and hanging out with the horses in the barn and the other kids staying. Great food, great breakfasts! Rooms were good size and comfortable. They were dog friendly and accommodating.

Not really a complaint, but a recommendation - That you had to pay 42 euros to have a swim in the spa pool. Although I was there with young children, I found the outdoor pool very busy and noisy at times with all the little ones. An adult only option in the spa would be a huge plus without having to pay.

Very good hotel, nice stuff, stylish rooms and area around. Perfect location - very close to many castles of the valley. You can take a bike ride or run to Cheverny castle.

The restaurant with general food is not quite good, no comfort food, very small menu, no room service and no breakfast in the restaurant - only basket in the room, but it is not convenient enough

Beautiful setting and perfectly furnished with taste and style. The hotel handled the oxygen requirements of my husband very well. Specific complaints were dealt with efficiently and fairly.

Many of the staff were very efficient and effective but there also was a proportion of personnel who let the hotel down in our opinion. This applied particularly in the Auberge were service was erratic and not particularly pleasant. Many of the staff looked miserable and frankly unhappy in their work. We had four visits to the restaurant covering breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks and then decided to eat outside of the hotel due to the very ordinary standard of food and the variable level of service.

Poor signage made it difficult to find the entrance. We waited 2 hours in the lobby for our room to be ready even though we had shared our arrival time beforehand. Somewhat overpriced

The service feels impersonal. With just 2 properties worldwide it already feels like a big chain. This is not a compliment. The bistro restaurant is a bit chaotic and way too busy and loud for this particular hotel level.

A beautiful hotel in a stunning location - the design is brilliant and you feel completely surrounded by nature. The pool is also beautiful and the free bikes are great for exploring the countryside.

The check in was poor and it took us 2 hours to get into our room. There were also a few problems with air con not working, and pool was pretty dirty as filters weren't on, showers being repaired etc. They did fix the air con quickly and made up for the slow check in with some complimentary products, which was appreciated. Overall we didn't think the issues were handled very well by the staff and we expected a little more considering it is a luxury hotel.

Stunning grounds, gorgeous architecture and interiors, superb staff delivering top-notch service, excellent restaurant. relaxing vibe. This is a hotel unlike any other in France.

We have no complaints whatsoever. It was our favorite place to stay in France.

Fantastic hotel - the building itself and the interior is impressive. The staff are extremely accommodating. The surrounding forest is also amazing.

For guests who do not have a rental car, it will be extremely costly to get anwhere not within walking or cycling distance, as taxis from the hotel are a minimum of 60 Euro. The Spa prices were also abit higher than one would expect.

We stayed in the original Chateau and it was excellent. Large room, comfortable bed, excellent facilities like outdoor pool and hot tub plus comfortable lounge areas with tea and coffee to relax and fabulous staff. After staying in other 5* Chateau properties in France, I can say this is the only one that equates to an actual 5* property.

Hard to think of a negative, however I do think the Spa facilities should be included in the room rate.

The bed felt a bit old —- like there were two slouchy holes in the mattress. I think that for the price, they can include the breakfast.
