The place was on remote countryside place which we adore. There were 2 funny and goofy dogs which I really liked. Amanda, the host was the best host so far, friendly, helpful and just a great person overall. We felt like we were at home there, and would definitely come again if we ever going to visit a nearby place.

There was not much to say, everything was great. Maybe because it is the countryside, we had a bit problem finding where to eat in the restaurant.

Lovely friendly couple who could not have done any more to make our stay immensely pleasurable. Amanda even got in her car and dropped us off and picked us up later so we could enjoy our night out locally! Fresh eggs for brekkie, full month brekkie if you like, home made marmalade and covered secure extra huge garage. Great!

Cannot think of anything. It is a delightful homely experience. Maybe the location is remote but I actually liked that. Just the sound of the birdsong as we sat outside beer in hand waiting for the sun to go down. Loved it...

This chambre-d'hôte lived uo to its name, since the owners were very welcoming and it was certainly quiet and peacefully situated. The décor of the little room I occupied was very attractive, too,.

I thought that breakfast left a little to be desired and that the owners, who are English, should perhaps go and stay in a few French guest houses to see what other people do. Milk might, for instance, be in aa milk-jug! And a little effort would have produced nice, fresh French bread instead of warmed-up croissants.

Lovely reception from the hosts Amanda and Jeff - a cup of tea and a chat on the patio. They gave us lots of information about the area, helped us with our car (flat battery) and gave us a lift to the wedding venue. A cup of tea was always available! Large sized bedroom with dressing area and bathroom gave us enough space to spread out! Freshly cooked eggs available for breakfast if wanted - plenty to eat with yogurt, crossiants and jam as well.

Beautiful location and the house and our room were spacious, clean and very comfortable with ensuite facilities. Excellent continental breakfast with a good variety. Hosts were very friendly, helpful and informative regarding the location and area. Nothing was too much trouble and it felt like home from home. They also have 2 very friendly, beautiful and well behaved dogs. We look forward to returning and would recommend this B&B whole heartedly.

Every thing was great

The queen room is great. Very spacious, with an en suite bathroom (including tub + shower). The bed is super comfortable. It's a firm mattress, but we liked that. There is a Wi Fi extender in the room, so there is a good signal. (My traveling companion was able to do her telework Zoom calls from the room.) The bedding and towels are awesome too! The hosts are really friendly and helpful with lots of information. The included breakfasts were yummy and made to order. If you like eggs, they have chicken, duck, and turkey eggs from their own farm.

Couldn't fault a thing with our stay. Amanda and Jeff are fabulous hosts who couldnt do enough for us. Fab food, great breakfast, they even took us and picked us up from a wedding we attended. Room was fantastic, very big and spotlessly clean. And their dogs are beautiful! Would thoroughly recommend this b and b.

Wonderful owners with a beatiful house in a gorgious surrounding. If we didn't buy a house next day near by we would have come back and back and.......

Mandy and Jeff very hospitable hosts. Great location. Huge room and lovely bathroom. Good breakfast and choice of English or Continental. Only a couple of minutes drive from Fougerolles du Plessis.

The friendliness of the owners was fantastic nothing was a problem with them at all. House was really warm as temperature was -5 all weekend
