Mas de la Beaume is a true gem. The rooms are big and all have a lovely patio where a delicious breakfast is served every morning. The jams are homemade by the hostess and delicious. It is an easy 10 minute walk to the center of Gordes which is charming and had one of the nicest markets we went to during 2 weeks in Provence. Joel and Sandrine are wonderful hosts and the grounds are beautifully maintained. To be surrounded by fig trees and olive trees and butterflies and hummingbirds was just what we needed to end 2 weeks in Provence. Thank you!

We were looking for a traditional accomodation to feel the Provence charm and we found this lovely place. The room is decorated with dry lavender and the smell is amazing. When you open the window shutters (wood painted in light blue), you can see the beautiful garden with lavender, roses and wild flowers. The garden is wonderful. We had a panoramic view of Gordes from our bathroom window. The breafast is so fresh with hight quality products: freshly squeezed orange juice, baguette, croissants, marmalade, honey, butter, cheese etc. Indeed there are no eggs or meat, but you won’t miss them. It is served outside in the garden in a lovely and private setup. The best view of Gordes is right in from of the property and the old town is within walking distance.

We had the most incredible stay on our minimoon. It's such a beautiful place. We had a little private garden outside our room where we had breakfast every morning which was a highlight for us. Location was excellent - 10-15 min beautiful walk into Gordes. You step out of the gate and have the most incredible view of the town. We will absolutely be going again!

The only negative we had was that there wasn't any air conditioning and so I'm not sure how we could have coped in the height of summer!

Each room is apparently appointed differently but ours had high ceilings, smelled heavenly of lavender, the bed was super comfortable with crisp white sheets, the bathroom was spacious. Beautiful antiques, dried flowers, and artwork made it really special. The best part is that each room is set apart from the others - almost like individual cabins - with individual terraces where guests can eat their own DELICIOUS breakfast, delivered between 8:30-10:30. Each terrace overlooks, and is surrounded by, the most beautiful garden with wonderful views! Out of our two weeks in France - this was our most luxurious stay and the only bummer is that we didn't stay longer!

No complaints - except that we didn't stay more than one day and didn't take the time to relax and enjoy the beauty of the garden and pool! (Not a complaint but a reminder - if you want to eat at a particular restaurant in Gorges, which is a short walk from the hotel, don't forget to make dinner reservations, well in advance, as tables fill up quickly!)

Most charming and romantic setting ever. So peaceful and beautifully maintained. Walk into the town of Gordes was easy and scenic. Rooms are nicely appointed and decorated in a beautiful French style. The breakfast is tasty and just right. This is our second stay at this property because we loved it so much- and we come all the way from the US.

The only thing we didn’t like was what we considered to be a somewhat snotty note left when we accidentally put an empty water bottle in a basket that was apparently there to hold the drapes off the floor. Lots of exclamation points‼️❗️‼️‼️‼️

Absolutely everything was divine! The room was huge, spotlessly clean, and is appointed to the highest standard. It has a beautifully comfy bed, plenty of hot water, fluffy white towels, and a gorgeous terrace with views over the countryside. As you walk into the room it smells divine with lots of lavender and dried flowers around the suite. It’s only a short walk into town with spectacular views along the way. The hosts were extremely friendly, and so interesting to talk to. They spoke English with us, smilingly tolerated my broken French (ha!), made suggestions for dinner and what to see in the town and around it, and even booked us a table for dinner at a beautiful bistro not far away. The breakfast was amazing - croissants, bread, cheese, homemade jams, yoghurt, fruit, juice, coffee/hot chocolate all served to you on your private terrace overlooking the gardens. I only have one very minor improvement suggestion - perhaps the inclusion of a face cloth/face washer in the bathroom? This is an incredibly beautiful place to stay and we were so impressed with Mas de la Baume and its peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.

Nothing to dislike. We loved everything - it was perfect.

Located just across the gorge overlooking the village centre. View from outside the gate is just amazing. 10 minutes walk to Gordes village with no steep hills or steps. Quite relaxing atmosphere, no TV no AC, one room had even no window, but not bad considering the heat. Breakfast is served on the porch. Nothing fancy, but nice croissant and fruit with coffee. Good if you prefer little interference, but still cleaning/bed making is provided daily which is quite nice.

Good to stay in a natural atmosphere with little interference. Still if you look for recommendations locally, the owner will give you kind tips.

Very personal and private the owners absolutely delightful and so helpful. Breakfast outside your door in secluded garden, very special. Accommodation excellent tastefully and personally furnished. Would highly recommend.

Not so much the property, the road is a bit dangerous when walking too and from the town. Also, need to book restaurants well in advance very busy especially in August.

Extremely beautiful and well maintained property, with exceptional gardens and a lovely view over the countryside. It’s also a 5-7 minute walk into Gordes, which is very convenient for seeing the beautiful town. The couple who run the B&B are so lovely, and took great care of us!

The best stay yet on our European holiday! Gorgeous room, stunning garden and pool, and a quick walk into town. Breakfast is served in the garden which adds a beautiful touch. Hosts are generous with local information and a friendly chat. Don’t bother looking elsewhere for your stay in Gordes!

After arriving, we realised we should have booked one of the rooms with a private terrace.
