Rooms were clear, albeit rather small, something which is common in Paris, so would say on average. the decoration and cleanliness make the stay better, the breakfast limited (continental) but was a good place to work for a while before going to my meetings across Paris

Only area of improvement would be the bathroom, this was more on the rather small side, so does take a bit of fidgeting to close the shower door and your face is very close to every single wall. once again, something common in Paris. and as i took a individual room, would be fair to say it was in line with the cost.

The hotel delighted us with its hearty breakfast and unbeatable central location. Our room offered a stunning cityscape view, best enjoyed from the quaint balcony—an urban oasis of sorts. Plus, the discounted parking provided by the hotel was a much-appreciated perk in the bustling city center. Perfect for travelers looking to immerse themselves in the city's heartbeat.

While the hotel's vintage charm has its appeal, the room and overall facilities could benefit from a refresh. The age of the interiors, though clean, showed through and hinted at the need for a modern touch-up. For those seeking contemporary comforts, this aspect may be a drawback amidst the hotel's many positives.

The room looked better than I had expected. It was pretty spacious and had cool mirrors and design. It was clean and decent for a standard hotel. Hotel staff were nice too and guided me on the information. The location was good in the sense that just outside has everything that you need. It is an area with a lot of restaurants and even shopping centre

Proper shower and shampoo could have been provided. Maybe a tissue box too? The location is somewhat far from the central station. About 20+ mins walk

The hotel is situated conveniently in the city centre, transfer from/to train station easy by tram, but also possible by feet. The personal is very friendly and helpful. Communication in English is no problem. The room was small, but clean and well organized and equipped. As the hotel is not that large the atmosphere is almost family-like.

Location is perfect in the center of Grenoble, few steps from "Office du Tourisme" tram station. Here you can access three (3) of the four (4) tram lines: A, B and D. Also, around 10 to 15 minutes' walk from the train and bus stations "Gare du Grenoble" Staff is very very friendly and helpful. the room is clean.

The hotel is a beautiful building facing the square and we had a gorgeous view from our balcony. The staff were amazing, so kind and helpful to us with our two young children, helping store our pram and make our stay easier! They spoke good english. The breakfast was really good in a lovely dining space, the kids loved the old staircase and there was a lift which made it even easier to get to our room. Room was really practical with two comfy beds, good view, good dark blinds. We found it perfect for an overnight stay at a very affordable price! We even got a discount card for a nearby restaurant and the next day it was easy to explore.

The parking wasn't so easy to find until we called the hotel. It's not possible to drive to the hotel and unload bags. We got a bit lost driving around the streets until we found the recommended parking lot. It's about a 5-7 minute walk away but with kids it wasn't super easy dealing with the parking lot stairs. We had to carry the pram up the stairs in the car park.

Everything a hotel should be: charming building, great location, good room, good bathroom, wifi, great breakfast. A television. Free (delicious) coffee in reception. Nice staff.

The radiator was made about in 1000 years BC and the controls had seized up (luckily "on") The hotel compensated by providing air conditioning but it was a bit difficult to get the room cool enough.

This is a wonderful location in Grenoble and we shall return. Conveniently located in the heart of the city close to shopping, parks, and cable car. The hotel was so helpful and easy to communicate with about our stay and the area. The room was comfortable and had a lovely terrace window over the surrounding streets. Breakfast was full. Staff were great! Enjoy

Nothing other than our stay was too short, Grenoble is great!

Location was great, room was comfortable but small and very clean. As the room was at the back it was very quiet but with no view. However, we were not overlooked either. Breakfast was great. All the staff were very friendly.

Parking was a pain, difficult to find the pedestrian entrance and expensive (La Fayette Parking) even with the hotel discount, it was almost €18 for 18 hours parking.

Though one of (if not the) oldest hotels in Grenoble, the Hotel de l'Europe is in a solid building, giving you confort - Particularly very good noise isolation considering the very central location, next to Place Grenette at the very center of Grenoble. Rooms are nice, beds comfortable. The inner court has a beautiful decoration, giving it a unique touch.

There could be more electric plugs in the room ;)
