Everything! Warm welcome by host as arranged who gave us a comprehensive introduction to our room and facilities. These were all first class and included basic cooking, a fridge and small outdoor terrace. Everything worked and was absolutely spotless. Location was ideal for us - quiet but walkable to the centre of La Bernerie shops and the beach and on the Atlantic Cycling Route (La Vélodyssée). Beautifully presented breakfast - a joy both to look at and eat - especially the fresh fruit and home made speculoos cake.

What a fantastic breakfast, fresh fruit and bread, homemade jam, fresh orange juice, one of the best continental breakfast I have had, lovely room with all the mod cons, large bathroom and toilet, outdoor heated swimming pool, very secluded, we do not speak much French and our hostess did not speak much English but she did her best to communicate with us, we understood what she was telling us.

Everything a lovely place to stay, self contained annexe to Cecile's house Breakfast was in the house itself, beautifully laid out, homemade jams etc, she made hubbie boiled eggs and we left full. We also got homemade brownies which we hadn't room to eat for later. Lovely place, highly recommend 👌 We ventured into the town for dinner Le Sud can highly recommend too steak was delicious 😋

Large studio room, well equipped to make simple meals, lovely big comfortable bed, sofa, telly, table and chairs, 2 patio doors to a good sized balcony to sit or eat on with views to the sea, very good shower, about 1/2 mile walk to beach or town (uphill back but not onerous)

Hung toilet creaked and moved when sat on! Unnerving! Owner informed and he promised to fix it. A slight misunderstanding of time rules for breakfast/ pool, leaving times etc. could easily have been solved by writing them clearly somewhere, not relying on spoken information. Madame was cross that we were late for breakfast. We had just come to France and my brain had not adjusted to interpreting. A simple written notice on the wall would solve this.

Everything was high class. Cecile was a perfect hostess who went the extra mile. Breakfast was exceptional, the apartment well furnished and clean, and the balcony with view of the ocean and the Île of Noirmoutier was a big plus.

The breakfast was excellent. The property was immaculate with more facilities than I expected. There is a heated swimming pool. Only 5 minutes drive to the town centre and beach. The host is very friendly and keen to help.

This is an excellent property with excellent facilities including a heated outdoor pool. The room had excellent facilities for preparing a snack.The manager is very welcoming and provides an excellent breakfast. We were invited to take uneaten croissants with us for later consumption. It is a great location for the beach and resorts locally.
