By far the coziest, cleanest, and friendliest place we've stayed. The owners Chako and Olivier are so welcoming. The room truly felt like we were home. They had every little toiletry you could think of, everything is so clean, and the food and wine were outstanding. Even when we would get back from exploring or dining, it would be like coming home to mom and dad where Chako and Olivier would make sure we were well fed and had everything we needed in our room. Olivier's Japanese tapas were to die for and the breakfast Chako prepares rivals any we had in Paris. The town of Loche is incredible. So quaint and quiet during the week and then a bustling market on Saturday mornings makes the citadel come alive. We can't wait to come back. We are already boasting about staying here again for Christmas or our anniversary. We love La Little Maison! 10 out of 10!!!

We wish we had stayed longer. What a find. Such lovely hosts. The building was delightful with spiral stone staircase, spacious room, large windows with shutters and curtains. The room and bathroom were well laid out and spacious. The patio garden was a wonderful spot to sit and have a drink and the host plays guitar and sings. Olivier was very helpful as we needed to see a doctor. He booked the appointment for us. We would definitely stay again. The town of Loches is a delight with plenty to keep you occupied over two days.

Everything! Excellent hosts. The location opposite the castle is very good and only minutes away from numerous restaurants. A delightful room with attention to detail including tea and coffee making facilities. Very comfortable bed. A very good buffet breakfast included in the price.

Nothing! Just for information- a little bit tricky to find (though clear instructions provided but our GPS wasn't working!) We were there in October and there was plenty of free parking available outside the castle.

Olivier and Chako were perfect hosts and welcomed us to their beautiful home with warmth and enthusiasm, even though our flight was delayed and we didn’t arrive till very late. Our accommodation was excellent and breakfast was plentiful. We so enjoyed returning to La Little Maison of an evening after exploring the beautiful area to sit in the delightful garden area and being served drinks and delicious tapas, overlooking stunning Loches.

Olivier and Chako were wonderful hosts. We especially loved the evening food, drinks, and music. The location right next to the Cité Royal was perfect for some exploring after a day of visiting castles. The family room was cozy and welcoming and our kids loved having their own space. We will certainly recommend this property to others interested in visiting the Loire Valley. Merci beaucoup Olivier et Chako!

A lovely cosy atmosphere to the whole place. We arrived on a wet, cold Spring day so the heating was very welcome as was the hot water, so we could have an early evening bath to warm up. The list of nearby restaurants was very helpful as we were able to book ahead and walk to the restaurant.

The place was hard to find, but this was partly due to roadworks, which, of course, Google maps hadn't accounted for! There is limited public parking a few hundred yards from the hotel.

Lovely, quirky B&B right in the centre of Loches. Fantastic friendly hosts and a really cute terrace to enjoy drinks and look out over the city. Good sized and comfortable room and bathroom with views towards the chateau - accessed up a memorable stone staircase. Limited car parking directly across the street - we got a convenient space. Excellent instructions on how to reach the property by car - driving through the old town. Great recommendations for restaurants bookings ahead of time - otherwise we might have struggled. Highly recommended for a stay in this beautiful town.

Overall we were really happy although we couldn't get wifi working at all and as a minor detail, although cold water was provided on arrival - which was great - there is no fridge in the room.

Location was ideal for a stay in Loches - right on the edge of the Royal City precinct. Close to good restaurants and interesting shopping. We loved it. Olivier and Chako were welcoming, thoughtful and entertaining hosts. We also loved the history of La Little Maison - dating back for centuries.

Great location in the old part of the city, spotlessly clean and wonderful ambiance with an exceptional host. We’ve stayed in Loches a lot, in a few different places, but think we’ve found the one we will now always return to when we are there! The garden bar is a lovely place to sit after a long drive, especially when you are serenaded! A real gem.

Everything! Amazing location right in the centre of Loches. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was huge. The owners were so kind and helpful. The terrace was shady and a great place to sit and have a drink. Don’t book anywhere else in Loches, this place is the best.
