We recently stayed at the Ibis hotel as a family of four during our return from Chamonix, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. The main reason we chose this hotel was for its convenient parking and Tesla charging facilities, which made it an ideal stopover for us. From the moment we arrived, everything felt well-organised and easy to navigate. Our room was impressively spacious, featuring a double bed and two single beds – perfect for our family. The room was spotlessly clean, fresh, and incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep after a long day of travel. Breakfast was a standout. The spread had everything we needed – from freshly baked croissants and creamy scrambled eggs to fresh fruit and juice. It was the perfect start to our day. A standout moment for us was the exceptional service from the staff. Just two minutes after we had left the hotel, we received a call from reception informing us that we had left a coat in our room. Their promptness and attention to detail left a lasting impression and highlighted the high level of care for guests. Overall, the Ibis exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely choose to stay there again. It’s an excellent option for families, travelers with EVs, or anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and outstanding service. Highly recommended!

Loved the look from outside and the interiors were amazing. It had an amazing smell all the way through to our room. the most friendly receptionist and barman. A lovely greeting as you arrived. to sit outside in the courtyard with a drink as soon as you arrive was so lovely. had a small but great swimming pool.

This is a lovely quiet hotel. The property and grounds are spacious, the whole establishment beautifully appointed and maintained, and the decor quirky and unique. The ambiance is first class and the swimming pool. Breakfasts are excellent. We cannot speak highly enough about the reception and breakfast staff… friendly and helpful.

We only ate once at the hotel as our evening meal was very disappointing. The beef was a poor cut , ( and I had to request a steak knife) and the fries probably more appetising when first cooked. Served with warm wine, when we brought this to the waiters attention he brought us a wine bucket of water ( no ice).

Great hotel. We stopped here en route to Italy and it was a great location just off the main road. The hotel itself was a lovely building and once inside you were not aware how close to the main road you were at all. Our room was spacious and very nice and the decor inside the hotel was lovely. There was a nice pool that was small and busy but perfect for the hot afternoon we arrived. There was also very nice grounds. The restaurant was very nice too and had a good selection of food for both adults and children (you need to pre book). The breakfast selection was good too. Staff were really friendly. We would definitely come and stay here again.

The pool was small and there were quite a few older children jumping in all the time which made it hard for other people to enjoy the pool especially with younger children. The hotel was not very close to the centre of Dijon and you would have to drive if you did want to go there but the restaurant at the hotel was very nice so we ate there instead.

This was our 1st stop of our road trip from the UK. Great location to stay overnight if you’re travelling further south. Hana on reception was fab, lovely intro to our overnight stay so thank you :-) Beautiful hotel, we loved the style and decor. Lovely little bar/restaurant and pool area. Although it got very busy (too busy!) at one point, it’s still a lovely addition to the hotel. The bedroom was perfect, great size, overlooking the gardens. My daughter’s bed was super comfy as was our queen bed. We enjoyed an evening meal, although they seemed under staffed, they still did a good job and the food was ok. Breakfast was great, we ate on the terrace. It was a really good selection and all very tasty :)

The toilets weren’t looked after very well in the bar/restaurant area - there is only 1 toilet for unisex use and every time it had run out of toilet paper/hand soap/towels etc.

It was a lovely hotel which incorporated a former cardinals palace - it was decorated in a suitable modern but quirky style was was a great bonus. The food was good, perhaps a bit too fancy for my daughter. There was also a bank of ev chargers and tesla chargers which was useful.

It was further out of Dijon that we thought, which made it hard to pop into town to have a look around on our stopover.

Breakfast was the usual high standard, albeit reduced to just sausage and scrambled eggs on this occasion. I was in room (001). This had a wet room, i.e. no bath. I didn't ask for this but was quite pleased with what there was. Anyone who particularly wanted a bath would have to say so. The room was exceptionally clean, the drinks making facility good and the room was warm and the bed very comfortable.

I always take a picher of house red wine with my evening meal. Last time, I complained that it tasted a little 'corked'. On this occasion it tasted the same. I can't imagine that it would be the same bottle, but for a house red wine, I think they could provide something better. At eight pounds fifty for a 500 ml picher, i would expect something more tasty or at least a choice for the same price.

Breakfast excellent. Someone knows how to make proper scrambled eggs. The atmosphere of the hotel is very pleasant and the staff very helpful and enjoy their work. Value for money is excellent and this hotel is really in a class of its own.

Restaurant meals are expensive and cordon bleu quality. My concern is that as a large Yorkshireman I could usually eat a little more. I realise haute cuisine usually means 1 carrot, 1 potato and whatever is the main course, but I would prefer to have a larger portion and the only way that I think this is possible, is to go for a burger with its accompanying frites or salad. Fortunately there is plenty of choice. I wish they'd sort out the road system around the hotel. My GPS system still cannot find the destination as the main road leading up to it, is just a mud track.

We had a fantastic stay, the pool was very welcome after a long day driving and the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast was fabulous. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Location was exactly what we needed for an overnight stop on a long drive.

The room felt a little unfinished with bare concrete ceiling that wasn't shown in the pics - but that's more aesthetic than anything that would stop me staying again or recommending it.

I've visited this hotel several times and am never disappointed. The food is very good and the staff are very professional and helpful.

Having recently stayed in a cheaper hotel in England, I was surprised to find that the English chain offered nice porcelain cups in the room with tea and coffee making facilities. The IBIS is a lovely hotel, but I think they could provide better than cheap paper cups in the rooms for the drinks facility.
