Staff at reception spoke English quiet well,which was very helpful when explaining about the trams. Great choice at breakfast. Tram into Bordeaux train station only 2 minutes walk from hotel.

Only one bottle of water in the mini bar even though 2 people staying in the room. Arrived on a late flight, so bars and restaurants closed when we arrived, and no vending machines in the hotel for drinks or snacks. Rang hotel from airport to order shuttle bus, but answering machine message was in French, (obviously) so didn't understand. Maybe add the message in some other languages as well.

Good location if you just need a night before or after a flight. I didn't have to go into Bordeaux from the hotel, so not sure how easy/difficult it is. Very generous and high quality breakfast. Very clean establishment, quite comfortable bed. Glad to have had the airport shuttle.

My room was a little too warm and stuffy for my liking. The air conditioner was a bit "low-tech", so I couldn't drop the temperature any further. The window could be opened, but the room would then be filled with the scent of jet fuel. Considering this is a 4-star hotel, I think additional toiletries (eg hand/body lotion) and a late night menu would be ideal. (If this was an option, there wasn't a menu in my room.)

Friendly helpful staff who were able to help us with their shuttle bus from tne airport . I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport and the swimming pool it didn't dissapoint . The cocktails were amazing. Great breakfast with a huge choice . However , I would not dine in the restaraunt of an evening .

The evening meal was expensive and the food poor , Confit of Duck was very dry and tough not Confit at all . The special wines offered were limited and of a poor quality. An expensive meal I felt ripped off . I witnessed people returning their steak. It's sad to think that you can't get a decent evening meal in a hotel of this standing. I would not eat here again and would not recommend it . Worth getting a Taxi out to another eatery. We

Very good bed, quiet room and good facilities. Breakfast and dinner were better than average for this price. All staff were pleasant and professional. Almost clinically clean.

Nothing really. It's just that all I wanted was a quiet, clean en-suite room close to the airport with a good bed and some reasonable food at dinner and breakfast. I appreciate that others want the pool etc.but it's an expensive thing to buy and maintain for the few people who actually use it. The only criticism (and Mercure isn't as bad as others) is that the public rooms feel sterile. I don't think that such a large corporate organisation can solve that one.

I didn't realise there was a pool, so that was a nice surprise. Staff helpful at check-in and friendly when we left. There's a bar and restaurant so it's got all you need for pre/post-flight.

Room service options were limited, but what we did eat was tasty. The decor is a little tired, but it's clean and comfortable at least.

No signage for pedestrians from the airport terminal. We arrived at 0200h after a much delayed flight and a french telephone number with an automated french language message and menu of options were nearly too much for us: a very unsettling and scary experience. Breakfast cleared too promptly.

The breakfast was excellent, the room was very comfortable and the location was fine. We thought it was closer and walked from the airport but next time would take a cab! We also liked the outdoor facilities which we would have made better use of if we had stayed longer

Not your fault but because we were late (flight delayed) there was no food available when we arrived. Also the transfer back to the airport the next day took a long time to begin.

Efficient and friendly staff, quick check in and check out. Hotel booked a very early morning taxi for us, which was ready and waiting in reception for us. Room was comfortable and a comfortable temperature, spare pillows available in the room. Restaurant has indoor and outdoor options, quick service.

The only slight minus was the rather limited menu options, (Stayed on a Sunday eve) I didn’t really want any of them, the meal was ok flavour wise, however.

Wow! There really is nothing else to say about this hotel. The price is exceptional for what you get! The facilities are gorgeous and the staff were so lovely and helpful. Everything was clean and fresh and the pool facilities were nothing short of luxurious. I could not believe that it was an 'airport hotel' we felt like we were in a resort! I would 100% recommend staying here :)

I can't list anything not to like about this place, it is great value for money and close to the airport without feeling like you are!
