My husband and I were Cycle Touring and were welcomed at Reception.  After registering we were invited to bring our bikes in past Reception and into a room to the side for safe storage for our 2 night stay.  As this space filled up people were invited to leave their bikes on the large billiard room next to this room. The Receptionist was very helpful and had a wealth of knowledge about the hotels history and local things to do.  The hotel has a very old charm about it, staircases everywhere to different parts of the hotel.  There is a lift to the main central areas, but a few stairs to negotiate first.  The decor is great, the Reception area has wingbacked chairs to relax in while you have a wine or coffee from the bar area.  Our room was massive, with two large bay windows.  The bathroom, also huge, had a bay window too.  Loved our stay.

We arrived late in the evening, and we were met by a lovely welcome note on the bed, together with biscuits and tea-making facilities: just what we needed after a long hard day at work in Paris. The room was comfortable, the centre of Morlaix is a lovely location and the breakfast was absolutely splendid - really well-organised and very high quality food. The hotel itself is a delightful period building with carved wooden stairs - a great stay.

The room was comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is easy to reach from the train station with a local bus that you can catch very close to the hotel. You can find restaurants and all the local tourist attractions around the hotel. The staff was very nice and helped us with local information and a taxi number for reaching another nearby city.

The room had a smell of old buildings, but opening the windows provided a temporary solution.

My husband and I had a wonderful few days in Morlaix, the hotel is beautiful! Perfectly located right in the heart of town within walking distance of many restaurants and bars. Staff is exceptional, very helpful and friendly. Our room was very spacious and very clean and the breakfast was really good! I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again!

Old fashioned Hotel that Ooozes character. Central location in Morlaix with Restos, commerce and plentiful parking soaces close at hand! Reception lady on arrival was lovely and so very helpful..

The Elevator is very compact. 2 x People max. Bit claustrophobic Reception lady on departure was not so friendly. Asked me 3 times if I had taken breakfast, which we hadnt. Very stern, unwelcoming demeanour.

Breakfast was lovely and the location is fabulous. The silence around the place. The trees are amazing.

There was nobody there to greet us when we arrived (I think it might have been a bank holiday but I'm not sure) so we had no personal point of contact. We just had our name on a piece of paper stuck up on the reception door with our room number on it!!! Also, on the walk down around the property on a grassy path to get down to the lower bedrooms, there is a steel rod sticking out of the ground, which looks like a branch, until you fall over it like I did and cut legs and hands in the fall. This should be removed!

Excellent bicycle storage and early time for check in. The hotel is in the middle of the restaurant area which is great for eating in the evening. The breakfast was very good with lots of options, brown bread with excellent scrambled eggs and bacon, fruit, cereal, seeds and nuts, cheese, ham, yoghurt. Lovely helpful staff.

The room was very small but warm and cozy. The shower is small but water pressure and temperature are great! Staff are friendly and helpful; breakfast is varied but could be improved with more options for vegans and gluten intolerant people.

No parking (though a free parking space is available 5 minutes away)

Very central in Morlaix. Lots going on in August locally. So easy access to restaurants and bars. Parking a little tricky as so central. Room very comfortable with good facilities including kettle. Noise a little tricky. Room had triple glazing but we like window open…

Have wanted to stay at this hotel for years having lived in the area for around 3 years before moving back to the UK. Such a warm and friendly welcome from the male receptionist who showed us the breakfast room as well as our bedroom. Lovely wooden staircase. Modern comfort but with all the lovely feel of a hotel of the past. Quiet whilst still in the centre of Morlaix with easy parking and plenty of eateries and shops to hand. Light and comfortable bedroom with a good ensuite. Gorgeous breakfast with so many choices. They speak English if you need them to do so. Perfect!
