Great location. Breakfast was great, and was an excellent start to a days skiing. The theme of the hotel is really nice. The facilities were good. Jacuzzi and pool onsite for relaxation after a long day. The staff were awesome, so helpful and made our stay very welcoming.

I am being over critical. But this is the only thing I can think of, which wasn’t too much of an inconvenience. The hot water was affected once during our stay.

Our stay at Alpen Roc was delightful. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely balcony. We had a meal at the Alpen Roc on our first night and the food was delicious. Our breakfasts were tasty with a lot of choice. The bonus was sunbathing and swimming in the heated pool, a real bonus in September! The hotel's position is perfect for exploring Morzine and parking is easy.

This is such a gem of a hotel. The staff are lovely, the location is really great for skiing (the Super-Morzine bubble is a short walk and from there there is a bus or a little train to the Pleney lift from there!). The food is outstanding - such good quality for a little hotel the pool and hot tub after skiing is just perfect. The set menu is awesome - my daughter had scallops pretty much everyday - and the carbonara is outstanding! There are specials for entree, main course and fish course every day!! The menu included duck, veal and venison! The salads were fresh and generous. The 3 courses include a choice of fabulous desserts or a massive cheese board! The wine list is lengthy and the lovely waitresses keep your table topped with water the whole way through the meal. The rooms are clean and the storage is really good, certainly enough for 3 people plus kit - our room also had a large balcony with a lovely view of the run down to the Pleney lift. The bathroom was small and the water pressure was fine (sometimes a problem in Alpine resorts) I had booked a different hotel originally and then changed to this based on location and I am so happy that we did. The owners are always around, and were super helpful with my questions over email when I was planning the trip. We hired our skis from Skiset Carabou2 which is at very close and also near the SuperMorzine gondola where there is a boot room which we used rather than the boot room in the hotel so I can't comment on that. If we return to Morzine then we will definitely try to get back to Alpen Roc. The ski area was in poor nick due to the lack of snow but because its so huge we always found somewhere to ski, even if we gave up earlier than we would ordinarily do - it was great to come back to such a homely hotel for a dip and a snooze before dinner. I noticed that there were lots of Tesla charging stations - not sure whether they are for guests or not, but they might be worth asking if you have one?

This is tough - but the family room was a tight squeeze with all our gear and the hotel was so warm we had to leave our balcony door open whenever we were in the room. Not a terrible problem to have obviously, and pretty standard for ski hotels. The bar area is small compared to other places I have stayed and not open til later on, so we tended to go our to Morzine after skiing for a post-ski vin chaud. All of these small issues do not detract from the massive positives of the hotel. For travellers with children with a limited palate, the kid's menu is quite limited with chicken nuggets or burgers - personally I liked this as after the first day my daughter was forced to broaden her horizons which she really enjoyed.

Warm and very friendly, excellent breakfast. Lovely pool & Jacuzzi, just what is required after a long day on the slopes. Great heated storage for wet coats and damp snow boots.

Bigger towels please. But everything else was lovely. Perhaps the ability to have complimentary tea/coffee in the afternoon before bar opens as non offered in the bedroom. And some racks for the ski’s. These are just little points that might help. 😊

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Good position near town and not too far to walk down to ski lifts. A great help was being able to book lift passes at reception. We were there on half board plan and enjoyed a very good buffet breakfast and evening meals and service were excellent.

The room decs were a little tired BUT very clean and plenty of storage space which can be an issue on ski hols in particular. We booked very late and perhaps got one of the lesser rooms with no or limited view, although there was access onto a shared terrace.

Great for a solo mountain bike trip. Staff were great, and very helpful. Secure, easy access bike storage and only 5 minutes from lifts and restaurants. Luggage storage and shower facilities were a massive bonus, allowing for a morning checkout and a day's riding before departing for the airport.

Rooms were very hot at night, and had to leave the windows open. Beds weren't overly comfy, however very clean and cosy!

Rooms were very spacious for a ski hotel in France and the beds reasonably comfortable. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. The food was very good but, while not a problem for us, did not include any vegetarian options. The service was also very good, they even catered for us the first night when we arrived (due to flight delays) late.

The kids menu could have been a little more expansive - it had either steak hache, fries and salad or chicken fingers, fries and salad. While these were very fresh, homemade and lovely, I feel they could have had a couple more options, or at least a pasta option. Similarly on the "local specialities" night - currently Monday night, offering the kids menu would have been great. My kids (who I admit are pretty fussy) ate nothing but french bread.

Simply astonishing, a complete gem in the alps. Staff is gentle, our room was comfy, and men, the pool and the jacuzzi were the best after a day of hiking. Breakfast was good to! Also the hotel's position is fire, is near everything.

All the hotel team is amazing, they understand your needs relative to the goal of your stay. I was there for a sport competition (spartan race) and they was able to adapt the breakfast schedule. Also the team prepared special menu for the athlete.

Excellent pool and jacuzzi. Ideal location for bubbles in either direction for skiing.

Nothing, everything was as described and great value.
