Beautiful view of the Saône River from our windows, very comfortable bed, easy walk along the river for food and laundromat.

the friendliness and helpfulness of the host

when arriving late at night the light for the entrance locks was a bit low (to see the coded key lockers)

Central location, comfortable bed, good breakfast. Friendly and helpful person on check-in and breakfast.

Check-in was rather complicated because the property was unmanned and required establishing phone contact in order to access room key in code-box on front door. This, despite claim that check-in was open 15:00 - 17:00. Then needed to wait until the person showed up. Other guests using mobile phones and drinking beer at outdoor tables were noisy until quite late but this cannot be blamed on hotel!

Easy to park. Overlooking the river. Handy to walk out for evening meal. Quiet location, hassle free. All amenities just what we wanted though I bring my own kettle as in Europe generally kettle not provided. Very happy.

Ride beside Velo route

No one there to check in. Phone number for check in - we are velo touring from Canada and do not have a phone- very frustrating waiting for someone to walk by to borrow phone to get lock box code. Smoke from outdoor seating was disgusting as it can in through the windows.

Room was very nice. The view was lovely from our room.

Don’t go there if you don’t speak French or have a phone with French service. I do realize this does not apply to everyone BUT nobody is there. There is a phone number on the door where you reach a message in French. I went to restaurant to ask someone to call. Three couples arrived after me and they were calling the number also. After arriving in my room I discovered I did not have the wifi code. The lady who had let me in was already gone in less than 10 minutes! The battery was out in the remote for the TV, oh well.. We grabbed a pizza to eat and drink some wine on the patio for dinner. The bar was locked and dark. There was no light except from the streetlight across the street. I expected more at this price point. This was in August.

Breakfast was OK. Shower was OK The view was fantastic Parking was OK The person preparing the breakfast was very professional.

No-one to received us. The key was in a box. It was 05 pm ! We had to phone to get the code. The bed was horrible , too soft. An hotel where you cannot sleep normally.

Nice view and room was clean.

There was no one there, the restaurant was also shut. The woman said she’d meet me but didn’t. The front door off the street was open to anyone.

Breakfast was good, but too late

We have to ring when we arrived for the key. Because no one was there. We slept on de third floor. There was only one way out. In case of emergency that was far to little. We have to ring at eight for breakfast, because nobody was there. We read on the site that there was a restaurant. We text if it was possible to have dinner there. No one answered.

The management does a great job of listening to customers.

The facility is too old and not a good option for business travellers; it is essentially a shelter to sleep in with an ok bed and a very small shower. Not even a safe box.
