Location, location location. Hotel itself is nice , rooms are good , cleanliness and staff friendliness all good. Bed and pillow comfort great!. Overall its a great place to stay if you like exploring Paris near the Seine / Notre Dame area. I enjoyed my stay despite the big negative described below ( lift was not working and i was on 6th floor). I kept the rating high because the lift issue is temporary and other guests should not meet this inconvenience (hopefully)

The lift was not working for the whole duration of the stay. I got an email a day before and it was logistically too complicated to change hotel ( Paris hotels were full in Septmeber 22). That by itself is manageable but checking in to the hotel, i realized would be on the 6th floor !... I saw older guests of retirement age slog it out on the stairs so i just though am lucky to be younger and fit! ( mercifully the older guests were on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors). CONCLUSION: MAKE SURE LIFT IS WORKING BEFORE YOU BOOK. Minor note the breakfast could use some improvement

Location is fantastic, right on the main boulevard of Saint Germain and very close to multiple metro stations, nearby attractions and great restaurants. We asked for a quiet room, and indeed the room was very well isolated from the outside, in terms of both light and sound. The only thing we heard were ambulance sirens, but that's a given as the hotel is located on the main boulevard, but it was also not really disturbing.

The only, really minor thing, would be to maybe to run maintenance on the showers more frequently. The draining in the bathroom was a bit too slow to properly drain while showering. The hotel would have probably fixed that ASAP if we had told anything, but we were too busy travelling and it wasn't a big deal so it just slipped our mind.

Location was optimal, highly recommend, best location I could have hoped for. The rooms were clean and well appointed, decently sized for Paris. Breakfast was too expensive (compared to other options off site) so we didn't purchase it. Enjoyed the robes and slippers in the room, very nice touch. Staff were all polite.

No information on Wifi was given at check-in. A password or QR code provided at check-in would be nice. A mirror above the desk in the room along with another wall outlet there would provide a needed dressing table area for families staying in the triple rooms. We paid much more than the other guests we traveled with as we had a child with us and therefore had a larger room for three, but we had a terrible view of the back of a building whereas our friends view was wonderful, out the front of the building and overlooking the Paris street and Le Flore Cafe. I hope that all the triple suites aren't in the back of the building and all families are not stuck with terrible views just because they are traveling with children, after all they are paying the business more for their room.

Location superb and hotel exceptionally clean. Especial bonus having a bath!

The lift broke down during the stay. The tiny narrow stairs and lack of light made this difficult. Also it would be a good idea to have a means of holding the bathroom door open, when one is in and out on one's own. It is annoying.

We choose this hotel for the location, it’s right across of Café de Flore, so we decided to have breakfast there in the morning. We had a beautiful view from the 5th floor. The room was comfortable.

It is quite old and you can see/smell this in the room.

Location is absolutely perfect!! The hotel is right across the street from the Cafe de Flore and it's an easy walk to the Seine, the Louve, Notre Dame, and all the attractions of the Left Bank. It was our third time staying at this lovely hotel because of this and it's beautiful, old world charm. We had one minor issue in our room, but it was promptly addressed by the gracious staff. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious by Paris standards. And the continental breakfast is quite good. Highly recommend!! Hotel location. They give us a room with the view at Blvd Saint Germain so you can feel the vibe of Paris at any hour. The room was at 4th floor and that was a good thing , because of uncollected garbage/rubbish , we managed to keep the window open when needed, without having to endure the smell to much. Free , decent internet. Pet was allowed, free of charge.

We wasn't offered the baggage handling service, which was advertised by the hotel ( and free of charge) even though we were struggling with our luggages. One night we had to take the dog out @2am and the doors of the hotel were blocked and no person at the desk(24/7 service) in the lobby. We understand this was a safety issue/procedure during the night and that most of the people are asleep around that hour, which gives the night shift nothing better to do than sleep, but in the situation that were outside of the hotel and came back later...

We really liked this kind of funky traditional hotel. Had a cool room up in one of those Haussmann dormers overlooking Les Deux Magots. (see photo from our window.) Nice shower. Room was characteristically "compact", so if you are the type that needs a ton of space, maybe another floor is better. Neighborhood was fun. Good food and entertainment. during the day, the usual tourists - ok, but in the evening it seemed to be mostly Parisians out, showing off their fancy cars and slick clothes. Good fun. Metro across the street. Front desk was pleasant, helpful. Overall I'd say it exceeded our expectations. Will probably return.

This hotel was in the perfect location - close to subway and sights. The staff was super helpful and breakfast was great. The room was large - including an enormous comfortable bed and great shower! Loved that our room had french windows that opened on to St. Germaine complete with flowerboxes (the windows opened!). They could have better coffee in the rooms..I am not a fan of instant coffee. I would say the only thing that couldn've been better was the WIFI..I was working and it was not reliable. Overall a fabulous choice for a long week/end stay in Paris. I will be back!

location was fantastic in walking distance to train and local attractions, the room was comfortable with a nice view. The lady in charged of the breakfast was really friendly and lovely. Even though we were in a main street the room was quite at night so we could get a good night sleep. taxi stop just outside with also coffee shops & restaurants in very close proximity

Breakfast was good but a bigger variety was would been great. Coffee wasn't great. The pillows on the bed need to be of better quality
