Really friendly staff, very accommodating and delighted to find they let our dog stay with us even in the bar and restaurant area. Location for seeing all the sights of Périgueux is fantastic, beautiful setting overlooking the river and old town.

The hotel room we stayed in was a bit tight for space, but adequate for a short stay. The room was very clean but the bathroom is starting to look a little tired and would benefit from a fresh coat of paint. Parking is very limited in front of the hotel and in their rear parking area. There is public parking opposite the hotel and in a nearby adjacent area but the spaces are limited and used by a local residency. It’s not easy to be assured a space.

Good location. Close to the river & less than 5 mins walk from the old town which is worth visiting. Pleasant outdoor bar and dining area. We had dinner there & the service & food were good. The meal was well presented & the menu imaginative. The beds were comfortable & the room adequately furnished. Fine for an overnight stay.

It was not essential but a kettle for tea or coffee making would have been useful. We parked in the public parking area almost next door but this can't be guaranteed as there seemed to be a high demand. So you just have to hope to be in luck.

A basic comfy room, with decent shower. No frills and a bit functional but clean and basically what you'd expect from an Ibis Hotel. The hotel is one of the larger Ibis Hotels I have stayed in and had a good bar on the ground floor. The location was perfect - literally backing on to the cathedral - you can't really get more central in Perigeaux.

Breakfast seemed a bit expensive compared to other stays we had on this trip - so we ate at an excellent local bakery a short walk away which seemed better value for money. Parking was available for free on the riverside quay opposite the hotel but there were few places left and in the high season this might be a real problem. I was also a bit worried about the security of things we had in the car as this was an open, unmonitored car park away from the hotel. I would strongly recommend checking out the parking arrangements and alternatives before travelling.

The location is second-to-none and there is parking available near at hand, although you might have to wait until a space becomes free. Breakfast alfresco was a delight and the selection of food available was excellent. The staff were very helpful and between them spoke many languages.

Tough question! I don't think there is anything not to like! Why would you want to stay in any other hotel when this one offers everything?

Superb location, very close to all the city centre facilities. Superb view from bedroom window, looking on to the Cathedral. Free car parking opposite was a bonus. Breakfast was excellent, thought about "nicking" some croissants for lunch. Some guests actually did!

Staff shortage at reception desk, meant a long wait to book in. No coffee making facilities (pretty standard in France).

Location was great. The room was adequate and lovely breakfast. Also good evening meal on restaurant terrace.

We had reserved garage parokng as free parking not guaranteed. Traumatic time with garage which closed automatically before we'd finished and damaged car.Hotel refunded cost but car still needs repair!

Location is perfect. Next to Cathedral, overlooking river, short walk into historic center with many shops and places to eat and/or drink. The restaurant for breakfast, drinks, and dinner was excellent. Staff from front desk to housekeeping to food service were friendly, helpful and hospitable. Lovely place to stay.

The location was excellent for anyone who wished to walk around the City. The reception staff were lovely, helpful & friendly. Hotel was spotless, we will be back 🥰

No coffee/tea making facilities in the room. I never thought to check in advance. I was so disappointed as it’s a must for me 😢

Standard room with a very comfortable bed and pillow. Clean shower room. Very nice continental breakfast. Free parking opposite the hotel alongside the river.

There was an electric problem when we arrived and there was a lot of drilling noise by the repairer. This didn't cause us a problem, we just went out. This was not the hotels fault.

Staff on reception and in the restaurant were very helpful

We understand the idea of using cardboard cups instead of plastic. Problem is the ones used leak, so to have some water beside the bed at night we had to borrow some glasses from the restaurant. Use glasses OR give more thought to how to replace plastic!
