Excellent, affordable and right in the terminal

We ate at the restaurant. It was a simple meal, two main courses and a bottle of wine. I was surprised to find that the bill was for 200€. It turned out that we had been billed for 150€ wine instead of the 30€ bottle which we ordered (and which was supplied). The restaurant reversed the bill at once and apologised, noting that “the code was the same for both bottles.” A simple enough error, and perhaps an understandable one, but it was not the only time that this happened during our stay in France. Best to carefully check the bill before you pay it.

The room was very spacious. I had plenty of room to spread out and do some work. The bathroom was good. What I liked the best was that I was runway side, the view was fantastic and not a sound from the runway. I also took up the Executive Club Lounge option, this was good and nice to get out of the room for a quiet drink / snack.

It's really difficult to roll your bag along the corridors. I understand that it is for sound, however the carpet was very plush, which makes rolling suitcases difficult, a more industrial style carpet would be really useful. I couldnt find a single sign for the hotel from the train platform, so if you're getting off there, just keep going up the escalators to about level 4, it's on the right! Better signage would be helpful.

I was incredibly grateful that during my stay in Metz, a direct train route to Charles de Gaulle Airport had been introduced. This made my journey back to Paris much smoother, as I was able to go straight from Metz to the airport without needing additional connections. This was especially appreciated since, on my way to Metz, I had to navigate the Paris subway and transfer at another station to catch my train—a challenge for me, as I had never used a subway before. Having a direct train option on the way back removed that stress completely, making my transition effortless. The Sheraton at CDG was the perfect place to stay before my flight. The hotel is inside the airport, eliminating the need for extra transportation. Check-in was easy, the staff was welcoming, and the room was comfortable and quiet—surprisingly so, given the airport setting. For anyone flying out of CDG or arriving by train, I highly recommend this hotel for its convenience, comfort, and stress-free accessibility.

The Sheraton Charles de Gaulle was extremely convenient, especially since my flight was delayed by 7 hours. The location is perfect, right in the TGV station, making it an easy and hassle-free option for travelers. The rooms were comfortable, and the overall experience was smooth and practical. Would definitely recommend it for anyone needing a comfortable stay near the airport!

One downside is that they **should consider offering a partnership with airlines** for passengers facing long delays. It would be great to have some sort of **special rate or package** in such situations.

The club on the floor we got to attend was a delight, except the food area needing an attendant ensuring that people used tongs, and perhaps a sign and more tongs. Given we have been through a pandemic you would think people had learned but unfortunately. It was a complete ick moment watching people come in and use their hands. ( and yes usually male guests) Some signage and an attendant requesting and ensuring some food safe protocol was done . That said I appreciated the really excellent glass of wine , I had and the food I sampled before the ick …was exceptional.

The convenience and location of the hotel was on main reason for its selection I had just had a stroke and we needed to be at the terminal we are off flight would be leaving to take us back to the United States so that was the reason for selecting the Sheridan. The hotel itself was very nice and the facilities were in line with what we expected, but unfortunately, we were given the wrong room because we needed a facility that had it for a shower. The room only had a bath which we couldn’t use because I was in a wheelchair and then they did transfer us to another room but the heat was not working and they had a repairman come up and couldn’t fix it Was a lot of little aggravation for us because all we wanted to do was rest before our flight and we couldn’t do it until they sent in of a portable heat to take the chill off the room, but after that everything went well the food itself was high thought, rather not up to standards that I would expect about first class although the second meal we had was very good. We just had the fish and chips and some onion soup but the arranging for a wheelchair and getting us to our departure point was excellent so it was kind of a mixed bag and I guess a lot of of it was frustration on our part because you know when you traveling and you’re incapacitated, you are becoming a little short, but I did get an apology letter from the staff and so all all We were very satisfied

The location within Charles de Gaulle Airport is perfect. Arriving at the hotel after disembarking is so easy and catching a flight in the early morning is the same---all on one level, easy access. I enjoyed the restaurant with attentive service and a varied menu. After a long flight having a good dinner prepared well is a bonus.

There was no tea or coffee in the room. There was a setup but the stock had not been replenished. Same with the facial tissue in the bathroom. Small complaint but housekeeping, although providing a very clean room, dropped the ball on those two listings. The hotel seemed quite empty yet the receptionist put me in a room waaaaaaaay down a very long hallway. The carpeting is quite thick and even with my super-duper suitcase wheels, I had a hard push to the elevator bank.

Location for overnight before a flight was ideal. The hotel is in Terminal 2C and a very short walk to the shuttle to other terminals.

Very hard to check in if you are in a rental car and want to unload suitcases before you return the car (rental car return is right there). The signage to even get to the hotel is not very clear (keep Sheraton on speed-dial on you way there). At the entry to the hotel, only 10 minutes of parking is free and the cost after that is 10 Euros!! The hotel should cover this—they are not staffed well enough to get people checked in within 10 minutes. Also, they refuse to allow customers to use their luggage trolleys even though only 1 person is available to help get luggage into the hotel.
