Really beautiful room overlooking the garden, well furnished and good shower room Excellent breakfast plenty of choice and lovely restaurant with good food, very charming host and lovely staff Great stay

As people have said the stairs are a little steep but I managed well and I am 78 and live in a bungalow Would have liked Apple juice at breakfast and maybe cold boiled egg Main problem communication tried for a week to get in touch,phone,email and Booking dot com message nothing but managed to talk to a lady I the kitchen who passed on our concerns the day before we arrived

Everything. It was a positive surprise in our way to the north of Britanny. The room was big, tasty, clean, excellent bed, high quality pillows, the bath large and spotless, with a window! In sum, the dreamed place to rest. The team was fantastic, kind and approachable. We look forward to come back soon to aux sabots rouges to further explore the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sabots Rouges. The building is a pretty old built, in a pretty town center. Very easy to find. The staff was lovely, spoke English very well. They were very accommodating and allowed us to do a late checkin as the restaurant was open that day. We had the big room on the top level which was beautiful, even more than expected. The bed was great, as was the shower. Breakfast was nice. The “local delights” shop on the other side of the road is well worth a visit!

Our room’s window opened to the streets with a bar right on the other side which seems to close quite late and can be noisy. It wasn’t as much a problem for us as we arrived quite late but I can see how it could become one.

Village is cute but most places are closed on several days of the week so be careful with your planning as the nearest village is quite a way.

More interaction with hotel owners and more warning about when places are open or closed for dinner

We (group of 4) had an excellent overnight stay. This is a small hotel in a small town. Ash is a great host and the place has a friendly and relaxed vibe. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully furnished. Excellent dinner in the courtyard. We will aim to return again. This is a little gem. Mike

All good except the rain!!!

We stayed in this gite for one night. The room was well decorated, simple and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The celing a bit low. The bathroom was adequate. Did not stay in the restaurant as it was closed and in any case, it served only british meals : burgers, chips etc.. It seems that the food is to appeal to the british locals.

It says Check-in is between 17.00 - 00.00 - however at 18.00, we had to wait at least 1 hour before we managed to get into the room - we phoned the numbers mentioned on the doors but had no answer. The other shop owners were quite helpful.

The room was newly refurbished and spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We also ate in the attached restaurant, which ws excellent, both in food and service!

Good central location. Attractive decor. Good shower and towel provision.

Lack of decent coffee. Insteant doesn't cut it in 2022. Never saw the hosts. Parking nearby not easy
