The people here are very kind. We were due to arrive after reception shut due to a late ferry, when I contacted the hotel, they were very kind and assured men that they would have someone there. And they did - the woman who checked us in was very kind. The hotel itself is sparkling clean. And the room cosy including a kettle to make tea or coffee with the relevant supplies. I didn't get to eat in the restaurant because we arrived so late - but the moules frites looked excellent. Maybe next time!

Location in a small port on the coast is superb. Ideal for touring the DDay beaches as it is in the middle.

Some of the staff in the hotel are down right rude, you'd think they were the paying customer! One tapped out on his phone translator telling me he was too bust come back later when I was trying to pay the hotel bill! Organisation in the restaurant at times was chaotic, tables were getting main meals at different times.

The hotel is very smart and right on the outer harbour. Reception staff were very welcoming, friendly and had a good spot to store our bikes. The room was extremely comfortable with a big bed and a modern bathroom. When we arrived the owner upgraded us to a sea view so we looked out over the harbour. Although the hotel is in the town it was very quiet at night and we slept well. The food in the restaurant was very good in the evening.

It was a nice hotel in a great location on the coast. The town is very cute with multiple restaurants, shops, etc. Overall it was in good condition, clean and modern up to date rooms. Staff was pleasant.

The booking wasn’t clear that there is no elevator. We decided against lugging our bags up four flights of stairs and only took out what we needed.

On our last visit a few years ago, it was a bit Spartan. The recent makeover is excellent and has made a huge difference. It’s now a hotel worthy of its special location. We loved it.

Location, cleanliness, honesty. We were 1 day late because my flight was canceled. I notified the hotel and they didn’t charge us for the missed day. Will definitely come back!
