FANTASTIC SERVICE, EXTREMELY WELCOMING, CLEAN AND WARM ROOMS AND FACILITIES. THE LOCATION IS FABULOUS BEING SO CLOSE TO TOWN WITH LOCAL RESTAURANTS CLOSE BY AND GREAT SELECTION. THE FRONT DESK YOUNG GENTLEMAN WAS OUTSTANDING IN EVERY RESPECT - SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION. COULD NOT BE FAULTED.

The location of the hotel is very good, some 5 minutes walk and you are near some very good restaurants and a few minutes' walk further and you are in the centre near the cathedral, shops and other restaurants. The breakfast selection is good and plentiful. We had a large room on the third floor with views onto the street.

The windows in the room are large and heavy - however when you opened the windows, there was no method of securing them open and leaving them ajar; they just swung open. This meant that you could clearly see into the properties across the road and they could see you. It would have been helpful to have been provided with a little "wedge" to hold the window open in the position you wanted.

Very stylish hotel tucked up a side street minutes away from the cathedral and sights. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our accessible room on the ground floor was dog friendly and the bed was wonderfully comfortable.

We found it tricky to find at first as it was up a no left turn street however had I read the email from the hotel I would have known that there was access up the street for horltel guests despite the signs

This hotel was clean, comfortable and good value. It is in a great location close to the city centre. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well laid out and of a good size. The breakfast options were good and it was nice to see the breakfast room open early at 7am. The staff were very nice and accommodating.

Initial impression was not good but stepping inside it was easy to see that the property had received a heavy investment which succeeded in creating a good ambience. The room was of modest dimensions but designed with efficiency in mind. All in all a good hotel in which to stay for a few days. Easy walk into the old town where there were plenty of restaurants and cafes.

Although car park was part of property, it wasn't very spacious and manoeuvring was tight. The facade of the hotel could do with a facelift.

A great find, once we found how to get to the hotel as the one way system was a bit confusing but once we found it we were so pleased we had. Very welcoming, clean and comfortable and the adjoining car park was a bonus. Despite it pouring with rain during our stay it did not dampen the wonderful stay we had here.

Far better than I expected! Have had variable experience of Best western but this is probably one of the best I've been to Staff were so friendly and room was just right. Very comfortable and well equipped with great bathroom Hotel right in centre of a beautiful town so easy access (within 5 minutes walk to cathedral) - as it is down a side street, we heard no noise at any time Great breakfast with good choice Excellent parking - safe for motorcycle (and free!!)

Close to the old town, nice room.

I could not drive up to the hotel due to a trafic sign. Had to find a parking garage elsewhere and walk to the hotel. Hotel staff told later that I should have ignored the trafic sign…? Would have been good to know beforehand.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I applaud the hotel’s efforts to be energy conscious and to avoid waste. It was nice to have flat and sparkling water on tap. The hotel is easy walking distance to the cathedral and museums. Good wifi. I would definitely stay here again.

Quiet location , parking possibilities (paid)

Ventilation in bath not great (humid). No possibility to hang jackets or rain-soaked clothes (it‘s a rainy region !). We had the room across the dining area & the lights were on all night (remember we had to occasionally open windows to get the humidity out).
