Rose, the receptionist on our arrive was amazingly helpful going above and beyond to help us order food, etc. As well as bringing us plates and cutlery when the food arrived. Beer and drinks were available at the bar to accompany which made for an enjoyable meal. Exceptional customer service. If it is important to you, Rose spoke excellent English! Thank you Rose! Rooms were basic but very comfortable and clean. Can’t expect too much for the price of £50 for a double room. Breakfast was extra cost but was excellent. All fresh, plentiful and well presented. This will be a regular stopover point for us in the future.

An older hotel but well maintained. Food in restaurant was very good value for money and tasty. Kettle with coffee in room very much appreciated. Rooms very well insulated against noise, very quiet. Happy to have a ground floor room facing the carpark so we could hear our motorcycle alarm if necessary. Carpark reasonably secure.
Only one chair in room, but space is at a premium.

Easy to locate after a journey from the ferry at Caen, booked in quickly, bed was comfy and room fine for our needs. Breakfast was excellent.
Restaurant was unfortunately closed that evening, so no evening meal which meant we had to find somewhere to eat, which was not easy. The breakfast was excellent in the morning, so a shame we couldn't use the restaurant the previous evening.
