I booked this hotel to stay on the weekend we were getting married, and informed the staff in advance. I was not disappointed: the team laid out a small bottle of (excellent) champagne in the room with a letter from the general manager wishing us the best on our wedding day, and we were upgraded to a beautiful room on the top floor, with views of the countryside and a lovely spacious layout. The room was comfortable and had good coffee available. We did not have time to stay for breakfast but we had a good night, and staff made us feel very welcome. The rooms and the entire space is spotless, brand new and tastefully decorated. To some it may appear a little prim or standardised, but I felt it provided enough sense of homeliness. It is also a very beautiful building out in the country, by a village yet quite close to Paris and a short drive from Versailles, so very good for tourism and sightseeing. There is a car park that's a little far in case of rain (5 min walk), but if you turn left on arrival, it leads you straight to the main building drop off (nice tree-lined drive). We did not get to try the spa and swimming facilities, nor the restaurant, but I'd definitely recommend the place as a hotel, it worked perfectly for us.

We would have been happy to stay longer, there was nothing we disliked.

Missing information on hotel services, etc in the room. Not expecting a paper copy nowadays, but would suggest to setupa QR code people can reach a digital copy with information like spa hours, treatments, hotel info (breakfast times, room service, etc)

Hotel is absolutely amazing, excellent service. My mother uses a wheelchair and the staff were so accommodating and nothing was ever an issue. The restaurant and food is incredible too

Very nice grounds and garden, and very friendly service.

Spa has no hot tub, which was kind of disappointing. We were there on a chilly day and as the pool is partially outdoors, we were hoping it would be more like a hot sping/thermal bath. Eggs and sausage were a bit cold at breakfast.

We book a Spa Hotel for the pool and spa and picked one with an indoor pool and paid extra for it and the heater on the pool and spa was not working.

The food was amazing, staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The restaurant split our dish so we could share it and made both plates looks wonderful.

Breakfast was a good spread, and we like the speed and convenience of self service. Location good for us as a stop on a regular journey between the Channel Tunnel and south-west France. Food in La Toile restaurant good but expensive. Staff attentive and friendly.

Confusing entrance from the road and not clear how to drive to the hotel, particularly in the dark (the Reception sign leaves you far from the entrance, with no obvious way of getting there), and not very convenient parking. Decor a bit too clinical/corporate (the target market is clearly conference business), with a lack of colour, and La Toile restaurant in particular would benefit from a warmer, more intimate atmosphere. Our de luxe room was a good size and generally well appointed, but a bit short of furniture! Maybe a small sofa at the foot of the bed to watch television?
