The hotel is well placed, clean, with lovely rooms, near to the motorway for onward to Calais. The breakfast was excellent. We shall certainly stay there again if travelling by car.

I gave it 4 stars as we stayed on a Sunday night, the staff at reception should have told us that they could offer room service in the evening as it was pouring and we had to find somewhere to eat in the town which was not satisfactory at all. All their communication was in French which we did not understand, please offer English? .

Perfect location for an overnight stay for us. Hotel quality exceeded our expectations. Room was spotless as was the bathroom. Very comfortable stay👍. Breakfast was fantastic. Great presentation of the huge variety of food, and kept very neat and clean. Coffee was from a self service machine, but still excellent quality which was good for us as we are fussy when it comes to coffee, again another 👍

Nohing we didn’t like or enjoy. We would stay again and also recommend.

We lived in the hotel on the way to Paris. Modern hotel, very pleasant environment.The room is well furnished, breakfast excellent.we really liked the food from the room service menu. I most appreciate the attitude of staff to solve everything to your satisfaction. I can only recommend the hotel, from my point of view there are no negatives.I'm sorry that we arrived late and didn't have time to see the center of St. Avold.Next time I'll fix it.

We have stayed here before as a stopover whilst travelling. It has a very distinctive decor and is bright and cheerful. It is situated on a main route into the town centre about 1km away, but the rooms are quiet and there is off street parking. A buffet breakfast is offered in a spacious dining room, but there is no lunch or dinner served. The rooms have a comfortable bed and generous bathroom, we stayed in an accessible room with a wet room shower. Rooms have a kettle and nespresso machine and free WiFi. Most clients we saw were business travellers. We did not visit the town, but had dinner in a nearby bistro which was excellent.

From the moment I booked I received numerous communications from the hotel through Booking.com and email which I found too much. And then a text on the day, but our actual welcome in person was very perfunctory. I had two issues with the room, the TV control only worked when I put it against the TV and the bathroom extractor was so inefficient steam filled the bathroom and bedroom rapidly followed by condensation making it a dangerous slip hazard for my disabled companion. The receptionist did not seem to believe my concern.

2nd time we stay in this hotel. Really good experience both times. Very nice spacious rooms with a luxurious touch. Very clean, in good condition. Excellent breakfast. There’s literally everything. Everything is fresh and tasty. Very friendly stuff. Good quality toiletries. There is even an essential oil to put in a shower cap for additional experience. Big free parking. Next to major cities and literally next to saint a old American cemetery.

receptionist was super helpful finding a restaurant on a Saturday evening, she rang 7 Restaurants. good breakfast, super quiet room and comfy beds. possibility to have a drink at the bar

for a 4 star hotel, there is a need to refresh the bathroom. bathroom fiiting are old. stains on the carpet, even if overall room was clean.

Good location for what we needed (close to motorway), plenty of parking. Room well designed and equipped. complimentary bottled water and Nespresso machine.

A few things had run out when we went down for breakfast, after 9am. Toilet light didn’t work, but as we were only staying one night it wasn’t a big deal and we reported it on check out. some noise from next door room, so soundproofing could be improved.

Room was clean and excellent shower,separate toilet. The internet was not secure which is poor for a hotel attracting mainly business customers.This was the only let down.My laptop would not let me connect for security reasons. Breakfast was excellent with a full spread..No restaurant available for evening meals however.

Great location for a stopover - we were on our way back from Austria. Reception staff helpful in making a restaurant reservation for us.

Despite arriving for breakfast at 7.30 am (service started at 7 am) all the fresh fruit had already gone and the only breakfast cereal was coco pops. More fresh fruit and perhaps some muesli would be good. Otherwise no complaints.

Left too early for breakfast but the staff went out of their way to be helpful and kind. One gentleman got my sister a coffee as we waited for a taxi and the check in gentleman was extremely helpful.
