Check-in was simple and the room was easy to access. It was clean and comfortable and had tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast offered a lot of choice and was plentiful. There was adequate parking. The hotel was located fairly close to the motorway so was easy to stop at whilst travelling through.

We had a room for 3 people but cups and towels were only set up for two people whilst reception were helpful it would have been better that these things were in the room in the first place.

Super nice place, great receptionist, professional, friendly, a warm welcome, a pleasant experience topped with a cozy bar. Handy fridge, and free water, excellent room and place, warmly recommend!

Not much to be honest to reach 10/10. Just some things were forgotten in the room from previous guests under the bed and i struggled with warm shower water, but probably my bad.

The hotel is well placed, clean, with lovely rooms, near to the motorway for onward to Calais. The breakfast was excellent. We shall certainly stay there again if travelling by car.

I gave it 4 stars as we stayed on a Sunday night, the staff at reception should have told us that they could offer room service in the evening as it was pouring and we had to find somewhere to eat in the town which was not satisfactory at all. All their communication was in French which we did not understand, please offer English? .

Travelling from Salzburg to UK, this was the perfect location to break our journey. Needed Dog friendly accomodation, B&B hotel Saint Avold ticked all the boxes for us and our dog. Will happily stay again on future journeys.

Only downside was limited evening food opportunities close by.

Room was spotless, staff were very nice and helpful, fantastic position, just off motorway, well located, plenty of parking outside front of hotel.Hotel was well laid out and nicely furnished from foyer to bedroom.

No things we did not like, cannot think of any negative comments.

I found the room a bit cold at night but my partner found it perfect temperature! Perhaps a blanket or throw on the bed giving guests the choice of whether to use it or not would be a welcome addition?

Free private parking in front of the hotel, very useful. Also, the location is very close to the highway, so really convenient for those in transit as we were. A restaurant in a nearby hotel is excellent for having dinner, and the breakfast offered by the hotel was good.

Very friendly staff who made the stay very nice and pleasant. 24h reception Decent room size. Quite. Close to the highway and easy to find.

For my taste the mattress was a little too soft. My bathroom floor was not clean but well handled by the staff.

receptionist was super helpful finding a restaurant on a Saturday evening, she rang 7 Restaurants. good breakfast, super quiet room and comfy beds. possibility to have a drink at the bar

for a 4 star hotel, there is a need to refresh the bathroom. bathroom fiiting are old. stains on the carpet, even if overall room was clean.

Parking in front of the hotel was good and convenient.

Hotel is pet/dog friendly BUT we think that we got room on the ground floor because probably only ground floor rooms are pet/dog friendly. Breakfast wasn't that good and we recommend instead bakery across the street.
