It is rare that I write a review, but in this case it's warranted. The owners, Jean-Francois & Laurent, were simply fantastic and genuine. There are times when you just know that an instant rapport will happen, this was that time. The perfect hosts for a nicely located clean comfortable property surrounded by vineyards and very close to Saint Emilion. Many times besides the property itself it’s the owners/hosts that make lasting memories of your stays along the way. If you are traveling by car like us, this place is a must, with easy parking. Besides the pleasant conversations, they provided restaurant recommendations and gladly made the reservation for us. The L’Envers du Décor restaurant in Saint Emilion was superb and without a reservation, we would have been out of luck, even in mid-September as it was booked solid. Since they were formerly in the restaurant business, we took their recommendations seriously. Don’t miss this property and these kind gentlemen.

Very comfortable B & B in a beautiful location surrounded by vineyards and only 1.7 km from the Saint Emilion village. Fabulous pool area, best breakfast on the terrace a treat and nice 25 minute walk into the village weaving between vineyards and Chateaus! Hosts were very attentive and had some good recommendations and organised a competitive taxi for us. That was only slight knock on the area - taxis can be little hard to get / expensive. If you don’t mind walking do so! In the Village had great Vietnamese meal at Cafe Saigon, Cloisters Sparkling wine centre an interesting tour and the underground / monolithic church a must see. Also E- bike wine tour (Rusty Vine Tours) was great fun! Enjoy the area - Paul from Australia

Thank you to hosts Jean-François and Laurent who made our stay most enjoyable at this lovely, nicely decorated country Bed and Breakfast. Warm welcome, helpful and informative hosts make all the difference! Loved their attention to detail. Nice room with comfy bed and romantic lighting overlooking gardens and vineyards. Also romantic outdoor lighting as uou enter at night. Continental breakfast is excellent, with top quality croissants, fruit and yogourt, coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. (Hot option available, extra.) Perfect! Highly recommend renting bicycles offered by the hosts. We did a beautiful ride along country roads lined with vineyards and castles and also into the dream-like town of St-Émillion. Just beautiful! Highly recommend a stay here.

Nothing. Know that you need a car and/or bicycles to get to town and out and about in the region.

The place is a dream! It's right in the middle of vineyards. The room was super clean, it has a big modern bathroom, the bed was very comfy, all linen and towels were clean and smelled fresh. Jean François was a super star host! Very welcoming, warm and accommodating. You can get a typical French breakfast, which was delicious! The place is really close to the village, if you don't have a car (which was my case), you can enjoy a nice walk between châteaus and vineyards; or you can also rent a bike from the hotel and reach the village within 10min. Also, there is a small biodynamic winery right at the place called Château Meylet, which is worth a visit and it's right behind the property. Honestly, one of the best B&B places I've ever been. Merci!

Everything about this place was amazing from start to finish!! The staff was amazing!! Incredibly friendly and welcoming upon arrival and until leaving! Very cozy and quaint establishment, with beautiful views overlooking the vineyards. Lovely oasis with tables and sitting areas to enjoy a glass of wine. Fridge available for all as well as wine glasses. Also have a few bottles for purchase available as well! Breakfast was a good typical "French breakfast" - mainly bread/croissants and butter/jam, however homemade yogurt was excellent!! Can also order omelet for extra charge. HIGHLY recommend when in Saint Emilion!!!

We had such a lovely stay here. The hosts are wonderful and so helpful. They booked a tour at a nearby wine estate for us and even dropped us at Saint Emilion by car one time when we were tight on time for our dinner reservation. They also speak great English. The room was beautifully renovated and decorated, with a very personal and warm style. Loved the wallpaper. Everything super comfortable, great bathroom too with a huge shower. We enjoyed the location among the vineyards and an easy 20-30 walk through the fields to Saint Emilion. Coming to from or going to the station is about 50 minutes walk or you can take an Uber or taxi of course. We also saw a swimming pool in the yard that looked great but it was too cold to use it when we were there. Must be fun in summer. Breakfast was also great: croissants, pain au chocolat, sweet spreads, yoghurt with fruits, coffee or tea and juice. There are also some wines, beers, soft drinks that you can get from a fridge and pay for it as you check out, and there is a limited menu of evening snacks. So you could also stay in for dinner / snacks if you wanted to, or bring your own food to have it there.

If you want eggs or cheese with your breakfast you have to pay a little extra. I felt that for the price this could have been included, but the breakfast itself was rich enough so I didn't miss these things. There was nothing else about this place that could be faulted; would highly recommend staying here.

A most pleasant overnight stay after our visit to beautiful St Emilion. Very carefully considered in terms of guest needs...all done with style and high end products. I especially valued the small but delightful swimming pool and enormous, soft pool towels. It was lovely to stretch out in the water after travelling miles and the stone pavements of gorgeous medieval towns. Breakfast was very elegantly served in the garden all in smart white porcelain...very nice!!

All very much up to standard...a well run super relaxing establishment.

Great location situated near St Emilion town, we hired a car so it was easy to get to. Before we arrived, we were sent dinner recommendations and advised to book in advance as the resturants can get fully booked. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed at the car and the host spent time with us going through the map of St Emilion and answered any questions we had. My wife has an allergy and the host was very accommodating and made sure their were options at breakfast. The grounds were beautiful - great to sit outside and relax with a glass of wine!

It was such a great experience from the moment we got out of the car. Jean-François so warmly welcomed us and showed us around the property, then Laurent promptly helped us with our bags. Check-in was seamless and Jean-François was so helpful with providing information about the area, things to do, where to park, where to eat, which wineries to visit and how to best craft an ideal itinerary of Saint-Emilion. The room was very comfortable, clean and homely. We very much enjoyed our stay and wish we could've stayed longer. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Saint-Emilion.

There's nothing to not like!

The location was only 2-3 minutes away from the town of Saint-Émilion in the middle of the vineyards ! The owners were always very friendly and helpful with two of their very well-behaved dogs. So we felt welcomed and looked after throughout our stay. They have driven us to Saint-Émilion, as we had a minor problem with our car and running late for the restaurant reservation (The owner has booked the popular brasserie for us and we much enjoyed the foods !) The breakfast in their garden surrounded by wisteria trees and all other greens was a real eye-opener. The coffee and breads were also very charmingly arranged and nice…served directly by the smiling proprietor. My partner was so pleased with the swimming pool ! Wished he could have stayed in longer !

Bit of the noises from the upstairs each time they used the toilet, but have heard that the owners are working on it.
