PERFECT hidden gem. Quiet, calm, and welcoming. The whole room was comfortable, and the pool was tranquil. Kim was the perfect host. She was so sweet and friendly, made us a basket of breakfast in the morning. We woke up to it on the terrace. Fig compote made from the fig tree on the property was to die for! I’ll miss this dearly. We felt right at home immediately and will definitely be returning to Lone Star house. We also left behind a laptop bag and Kim was more than happy to help us keep it safe for us while we arranged a retrieval.

The property is located about 15 minutes walk from the beach and town. It has a beautiful pool with comfortable sun loungers and sun umbrellas and is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day sightseeing or if you just want to have a peaceful time all day there. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and have everything you need including hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, toiletries and lots of other little helpful touches. Breakfast is served on your own private terrace by the host, Kim, who is discreet but helpful and does everything she can to make your stay perfect. She goes out of her way to provide anything you need and can provide information on the area, the best restaurants, transport etc. We stayed four nights and could easily have stayed longer. Lone Star House is a delightful place.

Kim is an excellent host , and nothing is too much trouble for her. Have stayed here before and will continue to do so. The breakfast she serves up is wonderful in a little hamper, which is such a fabulous touch . 10 out of 10!

We stayed at Lone Star House for six nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is exactly as advertised in the pictures. The room is comfortable and we enjoyed our nice terrace, where we had a nice breakfast each morning. The boulevard of Ste Maxime is within a 15 minute walk, which we did not mind at all. Plenty of great restaurants to choose from, and also a great location to travel to other villages such as St. Tropez, Ramatuelle and Gassin. Lastly, the service Kim provides is just superb. She is a very welcoming host who likes to have a chat but is also great at giving you your own space to relax. We will definitely come back here if we are traveling to this area in the future.

We stayed for 7 nights at Lone Star House and the whole is experience was fantastic. The house is in an excellent location - a quiet area but only 10 minutes walk to the centre of Ste Maxime, with supermarkets just at the bottom of the road. The air conditioned room was spotlessly clean with everything you would need for your stay. The bed was very comfortable and the modern bathroom and shower were great. The pool area was brilliant for cooling down and had really comfy sun loungers. Kim (and Poppy) were excellent hosts and even though we've been to Sainte Maxime many times Kim gave us some great tips for places to eat and visit that we never knew of before. The breakfast on the terrace every morning was lovely and set us up well for every day. We will definitely be staying in Lone Star House again the next time we come to Sainte Maxime. We could not recommend this property highly enough.

No complaints at all!

Kim was very kind, the breakfast was good with fresh products, the Wifi was good, the bedroom and the bathroom were big and there was a beautiful private garden, the swimming pool was nice and there was a large private parking.

The lock on the door was hard and the outside light was dim but these are little details.

Kim was a great host from our initial welcome. Our room was large, very comfortable, clean and had a separate area to sit outside and have breakfast and a glass of wine in the evening. Location was ideal, being just a 5 minute drive to the town centre, or 15 minutes walk, though uphill coming back. We would not hesitate in staying at Lone Star if in the area. Highly recommended.

We had a room with a charming terrace, at ground floor, with garden furniture. The room was pretty , comfortable ( we also had air condition, a mini fridge, facilities for making coffee and tea). The bathroom was clean. There is a pool very clean and with pool furniture of course. We found an sun umbrella on the terrace and Kim gave us one more and a tapis for the beach. Kim- the owner - served a charmig french breakfast, she brings it in a wonderful basket and serves it on the terrace, and we make coffee( Nespresso device).

There was a box in bathroom with some mini bottles , some of them half full with body lotion, some shower gel, some perfumed sticks, even one Tampax, very probably remained from previous tourists.This box was better not to be there. We stayed here for 3 nights and nobody took out the garbage ( we asked for this and the owner said to let it out). Nobody cleaned the room in this period- no mop, no dust, no “make the room”. This is not ok at all, but here there are 4 stars!

Where to start. Room was nice clean and pretty big. Bed was awesome and the bathroom was really big and lovely furnished. Outside you have nice sunny terrace and nice view at the sea. Breakfast was really big, jam and croissant were really jummy. The host Kim was really friendly and she did everything that our stay would be just perfect. From house is a short walk ( 10 min. ) to the beach and to centre of Saint Maxime. We had a really great time and hopefully we will come back next year :)

We really enjoyed our stay in Lone star house. The room was nice&clean. Kim is a perfect host and she made us feel at home. We loved the location and the silence of the neighbourhood. Strongly recommended!
