Air conditioning did not work properly, drainage in bathroom shower and sink poor and appeared to be blocked with some odours emanating from the facility. Confusion over upgrade to pool view is not the same as a seaview. Additional charge for pool view plus additional charge for seaview, just be aware as not clear at time of booking.

Hotel Paradou is in a great position with amazing sea views. It is a short stroll to the harbour area where there is a great choice of restaurants. Pool was lovely and towels were provided for use by the pool. Reception and bar staff were friendly and helpful. Free onsite parking. It was nice to have a fridge in the room stocked with a few beers and soft drinks.

We paid extra to book a room with balcony and seaview but the room we were allocated was on a corner so the balcony was only big enough for 1 small chair or standing room for two people! We were only staying for one night so just accepted that but it was disappointing. Air con worked but could have been better.

Loved the location. Great to get to the town and beach. Very friendly staff. Food was nice. Fridge in room.

Room was very clean but a little on the small side. Towel worn had hole in it . Had to step up to get on balcony that was very small just enough room to sit on. Not much room to hang clothes on .

Pool. Kindness and flexibility of personnel

Bathroom design when there are bathtubs - hard to reach soap dispenser, bathtub very slippery compared to in other hotels. Placement of doorstop in room we had - too easy to trip.

I loved the location, easy parking and next to the sea. Some nice restaurants to enjoy, do know some are closed on Mondays. The view from the balcony was lovely. Staff was friendly but not exceptional.

It was overpriced, i expected more for the price you pay. Also €4,- for a cafe au lait from a crappy machine is too much. A lot to learn there.

The hotel was well-located, the staff were friendly, the pool was lovely, we had a view of the pool and the sea, the room was small, but it had a balcony which was appreciated. They made very good mojitos.

The room was a little small, they could use more lounge chairs around the pool.

The staff were very nice, friendly and efficient, at the desk and particularly at breakfast. The pool area was nice and the view from its elevated position above the road out to sea and the lighthouse was really good.

I thought the balcony and view from it would be better, as we had paid a premium, we were on the 1st floor and probably the view was better from floor 2 where the executive rooms were located.

The location was superb. Across the road from the sea & several good restaurants & bars. The huge bed was extremely comfortable. The receptionist who checked us in yesterday was very friendly, efficient & professional. Evening meal is restaurant was good with efficient service. The 10 euros breakfast this morning was exceptionally good & extremely good value. There was ample free parking at the hotel.

The view from our room was mainly roof tops & just a slight glimpse of the sea! The room was just about an acceptable size - I've been in larger!! Check out this morning took a very long time - we were the only people checking out at the time, but I think it must have been the first day that the receptionist had been working there - she was so unsure of the procedure.

Very small bedrooms,very small bathroom, even smaller balcony bear in mind this was the best room available.

Excellent location by the marina, the sea & several restaurants & bars. Good, quiet air con in the room.

Didn't like having the toilet in the bathroom - it would have been good to be separate as it is in most 3/4 star hotels. Decided not to eat in the restaurant as the menu was very limited. plenty of good restaurants around the marina.
