Met by a friendly receptionist who gave us keys, explained where to lock the bikes (ski storage room) and where to park the cars. There was lots of space in the hotel, and the rooms were a good size. We had a family room, which included a double bed and bunk beds. Lots of electrical sockets, and keeps everything charged! Oodles of hot water. The hotel is in easy walking distance to shops, bars, and restaurants. There are about 3 car parking spaces directly outside the hotel with an underground carpark opposite, though spaces are tight. This is free in the summer! Generous breakfast served. Lovely hotel for a summer stop, but clearly set up for three winter season.

Very little. It worked for us for an overnight stop. There is a lounge area in the breakfast room but no bar, so nowhere really to socialise. Val d'Isere is very quiet in the summer.

The staff are exceptional--Catherine and Jimmy make an excellent team managing the property. They are kind, helpful and resourceful. The location of the property is excellent and breakfast was delicious.

If you stay at the property, earplugs are a good idea. Sound travels easily in the building.

Hotel cosy and personable with an excellent choice of food with the buffet style breakfast. Great location to the slopes. If you don't want to venture into town in the evenings there is an excellent lounge area with an open fire to relax and chill. Drinks are available from the hotel if required. Thank you to all at Crete Blanches. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout especially Jimmy. We will return :-)

Very well situated for the lifts about 300m away. The room had an amazing view of the mountains and was reasonable in size with a good bathroom and excellent shower etc. The Breakfast was excellent with cooked as well as cold options. Endless supply of any type of coffee from high quality coffee machines. The boot room although small was excellent and the boot warmers were superb.

Nothing....all great

Slightly dated but comfortable hotel, extremely friendly staff, close to the slopes. The breakfast was excellent. The apres ski pastries are a nice touch.

The locker room is a little cramped but quite adequate. the TV was smart, but French-only, so little use to non-French speakers

Location excellent and moments from the main ski lifts .Pleasant and .professional staff . Good Ski /snow hire shop directly opposite the hotel with 20% hire discount for hotel guests. Lots of restaurants and bars within a three minute walk . Pay more for a superior room and it’s bigger and you get a great view of the mountains as opposed to a town view from the smaller bedrooms .

The bathroom shower etc are clean functional and everything works with plenty of hot water etc but they need to be upgraded but this is reflected in the price of the accommodation .

Brilliant location - close to the ski lifts, good breakfast spread (and even some pastries in the afternoon after skiing), heated boot / ski room, good size bedroom. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Some of the rooms overlook Dicks Tea Bar, so it can be a bit loud overnight, particularly when people are leaving the bar.

perfect location only 2 minutes walk to slope lifts and same distance to a supermarket, lots of bars and restaurants in the vicinity. very helpful personnel, clean rooms, nice traditional breakfast.

no parking and no event space to park car for loading / unloading skis and suitcases. The nearest parking that is opposite the hotel was all the time full: it could be possible reason for that because we checked in on December 31

I was really pleased with our superior room, as the standard rooms don't have any storage space, so you end up living out of a suitcase. Well worth paying a bit more for a superior room as you get a separate toilet. Also, the room service was excellent with towels changed every day, and bed sheets too, or every other day. everything was spotlessly clean too and the staff were really keen to be helpful in every way. The breakfast was also impressively good, with excellent scrambled eggs done fresh every morning, along with everything else you'd expect from ham, cheese, yoghurt, pancakes etc.

We were there for a week and didn't have a single problem. I was a bit concerned that there wasn't a bar but later discovered that you could order drinks and have them served in their very comfortable lounge.

Location excellent, particularly as we weren’t woken up in the mornings by the road noise (e.g. bin men, which happens at the Aigle de Neige).

Lockers for the skis. A fan in the bathroom. A bit stuffy in the room and we had to open the door to get air - it would be good to have a window to open instead.
