The hotel and the entire experience of staying there was wonderful! The building is grand, and the decor is fitting and classy. Everything feels new and well maintained. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are clean, comfortable and unique (ours had a very high ceiling). The spa and pool was so clean and enjoyable to use. Great choice of restaurants with great food and excellent service. The lobby bar is great too. Breakfast was very very good. It was also great that there is a car park right next to the hotel which the hotel can give you overnight access to for a fee. We will definitely be coming back whenever we pass through the area.

Maybe the gym could use some additional machines.

The hotel looks fabulous. The building, the rooms, the atrium, it all looks very classy and stylish. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is good. The selection is ok and the different kinds of bread are super fresh. The swimming pool is fantastic. It's located in the basement and just looks stunning.

The mattress is very hard and I wasn't a big fan of the pillows. While the breakfast itself is fine, the buffet area feels rather cramped and crowded. While the pool is fantastic, the capacity of the sauna and hammam is rather limited for the number of guests.

As I’m an architect I work in the residential and commercial sectors. I like to travel and stay in new hotels around the world. My partner and I like spa’s and I found this on Booking.com. I liked the size of the hotel and the space. Some hotels are great but there too small and don’t give you any personal space for yourself or your family, and that’s important with a Spa Hotel. We picked our times correctly and most days we had the spa area to ourselves. I’ll defiantly return in the future.

I wanted to order room service as we arrived late on the first day as we had travelled from London. The QR code wasn’t working in the room and found it difficult to organise something to eat. The TV interaction needs to be better. I loved the history of how the building came together to become a hotel. I thought that was very interesting. The difficult thing was linking a phone or laptop to the TV to steam a movie from Netflix. It took so long I didn’t do this in the end as it became frustrating. Staying in a hotel spa should be effortless. Last comment. The hotel restaurant should review their cuts of meat. I went to the restaurant on two occasions and found a lot of gristle within the meat. Not good for that kind of establishment.

A fabulous renovation of an 18th century building, transformed with care into a spa hotel. Worth making a detour to stay on a journey through France. We loved the spa pool, which makes use of the arched stone cellars, and the modern reception spaces, which being light into the building without compromising the architecture. The dining room is not expensive and the staff were unfussy and friendly. What a find!

The hotel boasts spacious, beautiful rooms and a great location. It is housed in a wonderfully refurbished historic hospital. The property is very clean and pet-friendly, with friendly and helpful staff.

The spa offers limited facilities, and the sauna was out of order. The breakfast was adequate, but options were limited for those arriving late.

The finish of the hotel and quality is excellent. Like many places I think hospitality staff are missing slightly. The facilities are fabulous and I would highly recommend. It's nice to have an assortment of restaurants and it is close to the town centre so you can visit other bars and food outlets. The spa facilities are fabulous.

The water bottles of the last guests were still in the room and it could have just been finished and fridge replenished before we were given access to the room.

I loved everything about it, from decor to cleanliness. It was absolutely amazing. Wished i had more time to explore the facilities

There are not enough choices for breakfast

An extremely beautiful renovation and conversion of a historic building. We loved the mix of historical and contemporary features. The two restaurants were really really very good. We dined there both evenings. Excellent breakfast. The spa area is beautiful.

The building is breath taking. It's absolutely beautiful. Very well decorated with a great attention to details. The restaurant serve great food and the staff is so niceee. The cocktails are so tasty and the bar staff very accommodating.

Check in at 4 pm seems a little late considering the prices you pay per nights. More toiletries should be added in the showers such as body lotion. The pool is just wonderful. Point to mention during my stay is that there was no jacuzzi in the pool area or maybe it was not working.
