We loved our stay at hotel particulier. One night we got lost and the receptionist came to find us! My husband broke his razor and a replacement, with shaving cream was provided with a smile The swimming pool was a delight and cushions were provided for our comfort. Breakfast was first class and fresh orange juice supplied with a smile the room was quiet and bathrobe and slippers were provided in the bathroom. The hotel was close to all amenities. I want to recommend the Bambylor, a great fish restaurant only a few yards away in the same street All in all a lovely week in Béziers. Thanks to everyone at hotel particulier for making our stay so pleasant...

Two flights of stairs to get to our room was difficult but we are elderly and we knew about it in advance

The hotel was immaculate, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was spacious and lovely and cool when we returned at the end of a hot day of exploring. The pool was perfect too, for a cooling dip and a few lengths. Breakfast was also a pleasure, fresh breads, pastries, cheeses, jams and meat, plus fruit and yoghurt, coffees and teas. The location was quiet and about a 10 minute walk into the centre of town. A bus to the lovely beach of Vendras Plage stops a few steps away from the hotel entrance. Thank you to the hotel stay for a lovely stay and base for our 5 day stay. We visited Narbonne by train and, Pezenas, the beaches of Vendras and Valras all by bus.

Very stylish building, with beautiful decor. Lovely welcome on arrival. Very large room with a huge comfortable bed and a very nice en suite - I absolutely loved the spacious shower; probably the nicest shower I've ever been in. It was great to have bathrobes and slippers and all the other little touches. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Béziers.

Although there was an espresso maker in the room, we would have preferred a kettle. There were tea making facilities 2 floors down in the lounge for a fee, but I do like my cup of tea in bed on waking. I'm English though🤣

Very attractive period building, lovely modern feel and nice decor, spacious comfy room, lovely breakfast; pretty garden, nice pool. Honesty bar. I’d happily stay at this hotel again. Beziers a great little town.

I found hotel a bit far from restaurants due to arthritis. Only 10-15 mins for fit adult. The area between is mixed housing and multicultural. Visited during the French riots, curfews etc so more wary than normal. No problems at all. Garden and pool closed evenings. Had cheapest rooms - on 3rd floor, no lift. Which we expected. Drawbacks minor.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at the hotel. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. Our room was nicely decorated in a simple style. Air conditioning was effective. With all the rooms in the hotel having high ceilings it had an airy feeling. Opted for the continental breakfast which was well presented in a room which looked out to the pool area. Hotel is on a well lit street and is within easy reach of the centre of Beziers. If you arrive by plane the bus from airport goes to the railway station. The walk to the flat tree lined ‘Allees Paul Riquet’ is up a short hill. Bus back to the airport is from the end of the road in front of the railway station just before joining the carriageway. May have been a one off, but watch out for the bus as whilst looking for the 660, on the day we left a bus numbered 656 arrived about 10 minutes before the 660 was due to leave. It was only when the driver was asked closer to the departure time if it was for the airport that he confirmed it was. Airport itself is small and appears to run very well both for arrival and departure.

This is a beautifully decorated hotel that truly deserves the label boutique. The public areas are welcoming and chic, and there was a lovely sitting room area just off the breakfast room (with a small honesty bar). Check in was quick and the staff were friendly (some staff did not speak English, but it was manageable if you knew a knew a few words of French). Breakfast was continental (no hot options) but the high quality selection of meats, cheeses and pastries was more than ample. Fresh orange juice and a comprehensive selection of teas and coffees were available. Breakfast was available 8am til 11am, which I thought was particularly generous and allowed for a good lie in. The room was, again, very nicely presented with gorgeous high ceilings and huge windows. The bed was comfy, linens were of a good quality, as were the towels. There was a stocked mini fridge, but the prices were surprisingly high. Shower room and separate toilet were clean and well stocked (hairdryer, robes, shower gel etc). Air con was great and very quiet. Wifi worked well throughout the hotel. The pool area is small but perfectly formed, with several loungers/chairs. Towels are provided. We visited in early October so the pool area lost the sun by 11am but we still enjoyed an afternoon dip. The hotel is about a 15 min uphill walk from the train station (there's a bus to/ from the airport that leaves three times a day. €2 per trip). The main squares/restaurants are approximately a 10/15 minute walk.

The style of the rooms and the general deco was lovely. The rooms were a good size with quality furniture and nice facilities. The breakfast is really good with a lovely selection of fresh pastries, fruit, cheese and cold meats. The outdoor pool area is lovely, catching the sun until late afternoon. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere of the hotel is tranquil and relaxing.

What a lovely experience! From the moment you draw up outside you know it is going to be something special. The house its self is a grand building, close to the city centre. Once inside you will be blown away by the decor and the artwork on display. The common areas are absolutely charming and the facilities, like the pool and breakfast room are perfect. The breakfast itself was extremely well laid out and had everything you might like in a continental breakfast. The staff were all extremely pleasant to deal with and made you feel very welcome. We could not have been happier with our stay.

Not a note for the property but a note for other visitors to consider. The rooms are on two upper floors accessed by a staircase only. Fine with a small overnight case, but don't take your full size Delsey!

Large, bright bedrooms. Nice bathrooms.

One bedroom had no drawers or shelves for clothes and the wardrobe was situated to close to the bed. 2nd bedroom was storage was ok/ Both rooms the windows were too high to look out of.
