We were treated with wonderful courtesy. We arrived late in the evening, as planned. As one of us doesn't walk well, the cheerful receptionist secured parking for us adjacent to the hotel, and access through the ground-floor garage which has lifts to the upper floors (avoiding the steps at the entrance). She and a kind young porter brought our luggage to our room, where the receptionist turned on the lights to provide a welcoming entry. We'd asked for an accessible room if available. As someone booked later than we did but for much longer, the receptionist had upgraded our room to a large, well-appointed one with an easy-access shower. Having slept too late for breakfast the next morning, we found a popular patisserie a block away near the impressive 13th-century Porte Horlogue (clock gate), which survived the city's heavy WWII bombing. TIP: On Sundays in France, at least one patisserie is open in most towns & villages, typically until 12 or 1pm, though little else (if anything) will be. With admirable cooperation, the patisseries in each village and town take turns staying open while the others close on Sundays, holidays and for vacations. Really friendly staff and excellent dinner. We were cycling with a group of 5 and were very helpful in advising on route planning, food locations etc. great secure location for bikes in the garage. The hotel is a short walking distance into the town square where there are some nice places to eat and drink.

Nothing. Although there were road works outside. No works were happening when we were there though.

The restaurant did a really good job of helping me with my gluten free needs. They were able to give us our room key early and store our luggage. We were able to communicate in English (my French is not good.) It was definitely a family run business who b was fun to see.

Could use air conditioning but we are from California and spoiled that way lol.

Very clean and tidy Hotel in a good location with an excellent restaurant and helpful friendly staff. There is plenty of parking outside and nearby and everything was presented immaculately. The bath and shower are brand-new and worked well. Breakfast was well presented and had a good choice.

It’s a lovely building, but the interior decor lacks personality, especially the rooms which feel somewhat clinical, although very clean.

This hotel has great friendly staff members. The room was spacious and quiet. The location downtown Vire is great. We purchased the breakfast which was very good.

We found the room a bit hot. I don't think there is any A/C in this hotel. Parking close to the hotel is difficult but there is lots of parking about 1 block away.

Restaurant was great. The location was superb. We had a safe place to store our bicycles

On our 16 day bike tour, this was the only place that charged us for storing bikes

Fantastic location. Very quiet. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The receptionist was very welcoming. Our bikes were stored safely in their garage.

The only downside is that the hotel is located on a very busy road junction, so traffic noise was a problem from very early in the morning

Great location, very clean and comfortable, friendly and efficient staff with good storage for our bikes.
