We had two rooms and the comfort of one was not the same as the other. However, you could not fault the room upstairs for a comfortable bed and lovely shower facilities. The breakfast was also good with fresh croissants, jams oj among other things. We liked the countryside, vineyards, villages and lovely restaurants in the area. The pool table and piano added to the experience.

The pool. I am also debating in mentioning that our hosts were not the most welcoming and we felt that we were walking on eggshells when they were around. I appreciate that it’s a huge old house which needs renovations and care so it’s expensive to upkeep.

Eric and Catherine were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. The town of Viré was just a short walk away so we had dinner there, although our hosts could recommend lots of great restaurants a short drive away. Breakfast was delightful, homemade jams and a good selection of cheeses and pastries. Faultless!

Beautiful property in a lovely village in France. The house and rooms were very clean and comfortable. The owners were lovely and went out of their way to make sure guests were looked after and happy. Would definitely recommend and would look to stay again in the future

Location, surroundings, extremely nice building, garden, parking area for motorbikes, but above all warm welcome, lots of information and advices, delicious french breakfast. Couldn't expect the stay to be nicer that it was. A great place to stay.

Highly recommmendable when planning for a stay in the middle of the wineyards of the Vire-Clesse to discover the Maconnais and to enjoy the hospitality of the owners in a quiet environment. The high quality of the rooms and amenities show experienced professional love passion and ownership. Breakfast is excellent with a different touch every day. Helpful tips to get you started around the area without overdoing it. A real gem in the south of Burgundy!

Breakfast al fresco with magnificent view towards the garden/parc. Perfect room and bathroom, both tastefully refurnished. Very helpfull host, suggesting restaurant reservation ahead of arrival , (check out Auberge de Grennouillats, 8 km away)

Eric and Catherine were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The property was full of character. Bed was super comfy and the room was nice and warm, as we arrived at New Year.
