Staff helpful. Sent a shuttle bus to collect us, after we alerted them by phone of our arrival. They ordered a morning taxi for us, as our flight was before the commencement of the shuttle service. €25 , which was expensive for the 5 min ride. Had a great breakfast prepared to take away with us as our flight was very early. Rooms are clean and comfortable. You can't hear planes from the room, even with window open. The reception desk man who was on the morning shift was more pleasant than the guy on the night shift. The sister hotel over the road does a delicious evening meal. Pleasant staff too. There is a shop and restaurant about 150 metre walk from the hotel which is handy. I would stay here again.

Shuttle bus only operates after 5, which means you have to pay around 25 euros for a taxi. They could also do with more milk sachets in the room. There was only enough to make one drink, even though there were two of us.

Room was excellent. Availability of sister hotel facilities a big benefit. Breakfast was good.

Hotel recently updated, room and bathroom updated and clean, doors do not slam shut, able to go across the street for food, drinks and catching the shuttle. (we were there just before the remodel almost 2 years ago and it is a good improvement!) Appreciated that they made me a caesar salad without meat. Everyone was helpful and polite I had to go to the airport a couple of times to try and resolve an issue about my flight the next day and was grateful they had no problem with me taking the shuttle multiple times there and back. Remy, whom we met when we stayed at the property 1 1/2 years ago was there again/still and he remembered me, is very personable, attentive and cares about his guests. We would stay here again if flying in/out of Marseille.

In my case I wasn't able to take the shuttle for my early flight (needed to leave before 5 AM), so I wish there had been a more affordable way to get to the airport which is SO close. I also am not a fan of just a duvet and a bottom sheet with no top sheet. I know this is popular in Europe and Asia (not popular in the US) but even my French husband (who says he grew up with a bottom AND a top sheet and THEN a duvet or comforter or bed spread) can't stand not having a sheet between him and the duvet. When/if you get too warm you can't just sleep with a sheet on you - it's either a thick duvet or nothing at all - lousy choices.

A good variety of food for breakfast. Staff worked hard to keep lobby and breakfast area clean and tidy. Excellent English spoken by staff. Miryam was exceptionally helpful, in collecting us from the airport even though it was after midnight. Comfortable bed. Thank you

It would have been helpful, and stress free, to have been able to book the shuttle pick up from the airport to the hotel beforehand, so that we wouldn't have to worry about getting to the hotel from the airport.

Found hotel (and its sister hotel across the road) no problem and parking was no problem. Waiter was friendly and helpful.

Ambiance for dinner in the sister hotel across the road was not very good: there was quite a noisy crowd in the reception/bar area to navigate to reach the dining area. Tables in the dining area were very close together and the evening menu choice was quite limited. Dining area rather basic in style, but clean enough. Self service breakfast was acceptable with reasonable choice.

Great value for a quick overnight stay in between flights. Comfortable beds, excellent breakfast, smooth shuttle service, and you can use the sister hotel across the street amenities too, restaurant pool bar etc, although I wasn’t able to because i got in too late.

The hotel website advertises 24/7 room service, this is totally inaccurate. We got in after 10, the restaurant across the street was closed and the hotel only had one container of soup on the shelf to offer, so we had to Uber Eats. Also there was some confusion in organizing the shuttle to the airport, the hotel across the street runs the shuttle but our front desk staff could not phone them to arrange this for us, so we had to run back and forth to the other hotel to book the shuttle, then run back and forth again when the shuttle didnt show up on time. It was fine, just a bit odd that the hotel couldn’t help coordinate this.

We loved the Holiday Inn Express who received us generously and politely. They did recommend a restaurant or the Holiday Inn. We went back to the Holiday Inn for dinner and our male waiter and the food were both excellent. Good services and food.

We accidentally entered at the Holiday Inn and were "shamed" because we were booked across the street for the Holiday Inn. The young lady was very rude as we took our large bags across the street. Please indicate more clearly on the sign for taxi drivers. Holiday Express should have healthy foods and snacks for its guests perhaps?

The room was great! The bed was not the most comfortable. I could fell springs or something very hard in some spots of the mattress. The staff was welcoming and nice and they even offered a free shuttle to the airport in the morning. The breakfast was nice and enough! Overall all was good! Thanks!

The only concern I have is regarding the bed which had some hard spots on the mattress, do not exactly know whether dues to the springs or something else. The rest was perfect!

What a find! A brilliant hotel with the most amazing staff made a night before our flight sensational. We were expecting a night to be tolerated on our travels but it turned out to be a fun, enjoyable and relaxing experience. Dinner was the biggest surprise. Incredible food and welcoming and helpful staff. We had a most enjoyable evening. Our room was clean, well prepared and very of all quiet and cool. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel was very convenient to the airport as we had a one night stay and moved on by train to Marseille. The shuttle was very good and arrived ten minutes after we called for it. The train station is a short walk from the hotel five minutes . the hotel is quiet and the rooms are well laid out.

The breakfast is adequate, get up early if you want fresh breakfast, otherwise all good , cereal, coffee toast , a selection of meat and cheese.
