It's an Airport transit hotel and fit for purpose. It's expensive but moderate when compared to other properties in and around Papeete. It's only a short walk from the airport across the car park, up some steps, cross the road and a short uphill driveway/road. The rooms are really good, spacious, comfortable and well decorated. There is a bus stop on the main road for buses into Papeete during the day only.

There could be better directions to the hotel, some people took taxis which travel further than necessary. An early check in would have been appreciated given the time you have to check out.

Good location, excellent for catching early morning flights. Walking distance from the airport. Usual 3 star confort. No objections in this regard.

The path to the hotel from the airport only for light travellers. Lot of stairs and uphill road. Wi-fi doesn't work properly in the evening hours. In spite of vacant rooms in the morning, we had to wait till 13h to get in. Otherwise they charge 60 $ for early check-in. What is the purpose of keeping guests arriving with early flights in the lobby for hours. If they can't or won't pay high check-in fee, is this a punishment? If the rooms are ready, they should be given away. Reducing the amount of check-in fee to 20 $ would be smarter and betterbfor everyone.

They were very accommodating for booking at the last minute. The staff was very friendly. The pricing was reasonable for a night's stay. It is walking distance from the airport. I am quite pleased with this place and definitely would stay again.

Having better directions on how to get to it would be nice. Also, there was not a lighted path to get to the hotel, considering we were walking there from the airport at night, so having a more lit up path would be very much appreciated.

We stayed on 2 separate occasions of 1 night each, when we arrived in Tahiti and when we were leaving. It was a great decision to stay so close to the airport for both nights as it's a walkable distance, no faffing with taxis at 2am. The bus the next morning (line 2 into Papeete) was really easy and cheap (200XPF each) as was our return trip a few days later (catch the bus from behind the market). Both rooms we got were good, WiFi was fine, aircon worked well (and was needed), showers strong and the beds comfortable. The view from both rooms was lovely. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

I would recommend looking on Google Maps to check the last 100m of the route before you arrive, we assumed the entrance would be clearly sign posted, it wasn't. We also had to walk up a 50m steep hill in the dark and then some stairs. The rooms had a kettle, sweetener and tea bags but no coffee, milk/whitener and the cups were disposable plastic Styrofoam. I think this was pretty stingy, especially when guests are arriving and leaving at unsociable times and can't get anything else nearby.

If your plane leaves very early in the morning, it is normal to find a hotel as close as possible to the airport. From this point of view Tahiti Airport Motel is unbeatable. You benefit from exactly the services you need for one night and you do not fear that you will be in danger of being late at the airport. The air conditioner worked flawlessly and so did the TV. We had a fridge in the room and made full use of it and also coffee and tea bags. This last remark is necessary because in the evening it is more difficult to go out to look for restaurants around.

The location of the hotel (on a hill) means that - although it is very close to the airport - transportation to and from Fa'a airport - you definitely need a taxi if you have luggage. But then, of course, it is not the motel's fault.

Right next to the airport, perfect for a late arrival. Free parking at the motel, it was very useful for a 3 day stay.

No possibility to leave our bags for the day after check in and before our evening flight, the hotel offers a late check in but it's quite expensive, you can put your bags at the airport in a locked box for the day. The hotel can be loud with late arrival, but it's part of why we choose it anyway.

Basic hotel, clean room, good location for us on our last night before flying out early next morning. Quiet, considering you are directly across from the airport. Amazing sunset views from balcony. Although we had a reservation, our room type was upgraded upon check in due to no more booked room types available, which was great as we had more room. Easy walk (down) the hill with luggage on way TO airport - would be challenging to walk to this hotel FROM airport with luggage.

Bed/pillows were very firm (uncomfortable).

It’s close to the airport and perfect for transit. We stayed before going to Moorea and after Bora Bora before taking our international flight home. It’s clean and the room is spacious.

They should offer an airport shuttle. It’s literally 2 minutes away by car, but difficult to access by foot due to the steep street. If they would add extra 10€ to the room price and offer airport pickup, they would increase their value a lot!

Room: Decent size for 2 Location: We were able to walk to the motel from Papeete airport. You just need to go up a few stairs and a hill. Staff: They helped us with arranging a taxi to the ferry station which ran us ~$30 USD

The breakfast was ~$11 and the selection was not great. If I recall it was cereal, a cold croissant and the standard juice and coffee. I would opt out of the breakfast there and get breakfast elsewhere.

Location is perfect for airport stopover, early/late flights- very close- we could walk in 5 mins. Rooms were comfortable, clean, quiet and had aircon. Reception were helpful and organised taxis. A few dining options nearby. Surprised at how quiet it was and got a good sleep prior to early am departure.bteakfast is available from 6am. Taxi to drop off at airport was easily arranged and around 1500xfp.

It might be hard to walk to airport with heavy /multiple suitcases as the walkway goes via a steep bumpy road & quite a few steps. Also our taxi driver refused to go down into the steep entrance- so left us dragging heavy suitcases down and through the hotel ourselves. But this is more a reflection on some drivers.
