Very spacious 2 bedroom apartment. Large lounge and large kitchen. Great location near Bell Tower in Old town.Amiabke host,Herr Wulf always willing to chat and give advice and tips.Beds very comfortable. TV,WiFi (though only worked in lounge.)Fridge/freezer,toaster and kettle. Microwave quite old and we couldn't get it to work properly

An old building so overall look not so brilliant Some minor items that could be fixed quite easily..New microwave, shower head and riser to be replaced. Some sockets not working or looked suspect. Couple of windows needed blinds.Wifi only worked in lounge area

If you like to experience antique style of life and unique way to stay over night - this place is for you. The house is old and you can imagine how the Burgemeister lived back some hundred years ago. It does have a flavor of antique stay. We loved it! It had all the amenities and extra. It was also huge!

It is old. And if you are looking for a modern stay - maybe it is not for you. But for us was perfect.

This charming, rustic old house is located in the historical center of Arnsberg. It is simple but includes all the basic necessities to make you feel at home, while traveling. The owner was very friendly. He shared with me some important historical dates and facts about the city's history and some nearby monuments. At walking distance you find restaurants, the famous "Cheers" Pub and Bar, the old castle ruins, and many other attractions. At a short drive, the foodies will satisfy their palate while enjoying delicious gourmet dinner at Restaurant "Menge." Furthermore, a taste bud delights are the fine pastry from Café Konditorei "Krengel." For the Tapas lover's, El Toro Restaurant is a good alternative. The location is ideal for walking, hiking, or driving. The interstate is about 10 mins drive from the property. Next time I visit Arnsberg, I will stay here again.

Excellent location, very comfortable, and a sense of old German style refinement. A lot of history in that place, and you feel every minute of it!

Parking was an issue. Understandable, because it's in the center of the old town, but you cannot always find a spot.

It is an old house and if anybody loves old buildings, he will love it. It is spacious, high ceiling and old fashioned. The space could be better organized but is ok. And it is clean. Very close to the center

The host is very nice, the flat is massive and has everything you need, and the garden is good for children to chill out. Location right next to the castle.

We enjoyed our stay with Johannes, loved the feel of the heritage interior and beautiful surrounding area of the house.

A spacious fascinating old building the newer part was 17th century. Wish we had more time to have listened to Hans talk about it.

I'm afraid we failed miserably to connect to the WiFi but that may be down to us.
