I appreciate that when the mirror light was broken in the room we were assigned, we were offered several different rooms to choose from, one that was an upgrade with a view to the Rhein River (though the room was smaller). I love that we can get excellent coffee from the machine most hours of the day, though one time it wasn't working and said it was available "tomorrow" (and it was). Staff super friendly, breakfasts FANTASTIC, and staff at breakfasts also very accommodating and friendly.

I thought it was weird that coffee was offered in our room the first day and then it is their policy to NOT refresh it. I asked specifically about that and that confirmed they do not offer in-room coffee after the first day. I was able to go downstairs to the machine and bring coffee up to my room but that defeats the purpose of coffee in your room since then I felt I had to get dressed before going out. I would have liked to have had one cup of coffee every day. It seems a small amenity at this price point. The hotel was rather expensive.

Location is right in the center of the old town, next to the river and wooden bridge. Staff was very helpful and friendly, taking care of all of our needs. Hotel facilities and breakfast were very nice.

Being in the center of the pedestrian, old town zone, there is no parking right at the hotel that we were told about. The nearest paid lot is about 4 blocks away and costs roughly $5.00 per night.

The hotel is very well situated overlooking the Rhine from the back and a pretty square from the front. Our room had a lovely view of the Rhine and the old wooden bridge that connects Germany to Switzerland. Breakfast was very good and there was a pleasant outdoor eating area.

It was very hot when we visited and the heat made sleeping uncomfortable.

Its location next to the river, looking into Switzerland, is pretty cool.

There is limited parking space next to the hotel (located in the pedestrian zone) and we had to park in a public parking approximately 8-min walk away. We had a family room that was located on top floor without A/C which made the night pretty unbearable.

The room was small but super clean, and comfortable. The location and the view was amazing. It is a very pretty hotel

No air-conditioning in the room. The shower was leaking to the rest of the bathroom even with the door completely closed.

Very friendly staff, from check-in to breakfast representative, every one was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheese and cold cut. Great location, in the city center, all you have to do is step outside and do your sight seeing.

Room had amazing view of the Rhine and bridge. Everything was spotlessly clean, pillows were extremely comfortable, towels were big. Perfect location for shops and restaurants, free parking. The staff were incredibly helpful.

Great place for a one night stopover. In the middle of the centre of Bad Säckingen. There was a lot of coffee available everywhere. Spacious room

It is in a nice location with views of the river. The staff is excellent. The room is very clean and has free coffee for all guests.

The ring of the bells of the church next to the hotel could be annoying if you want to stay longer in bed.

My room with a river view was just a very small window. Other rooms had a terrace and balcony they could sit on and properly see the river. The ability to have food was limited and both nights I stayed I couldn't have a meal due to others booking before me and shortage of staff due to covid. Not really their fault, in all honesty, but a fact of life, nowadays. There was plenty of other places nearby that were good anyway.
