We used this hotel as a rest for the night. I was pleasantly surprised for what I got for my money. It had the old charm and vibe, but was very clean and comfortable. I am planning a trip for next year and I will stay there again. Breakfast was limited in choice but still sufficient and tasty. I liked the breakfast presentation, it is unique for sure. One thing to consider that there is no elevator, which I did not expect and was not an issue for us, but something to consider if traveling with a person with mobility issues.

Breakfast was excellent. No waste as everything was served in reusable glasses, right size portions. Very friendly staff. Beds very comfortable. Pretty village, beautiful countryside and not too far from the motorway if you are looking for an overnight stop. Would definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately the restaurant is not open every evening, and was fully booked on the Wednesday evening we stayed. Definitely should reserve in advance if possible. Interesting menu. We will know for the next time.

First and foremost the friendliness of the proprietress. She works really hard, it is plain to see. The room was fresh and newly decorated and cute. Easy parking, restaurant on site, fresh breakfast......it was good value for money. Sehr freundliche Wirtin und süßes neu renoviertes Zimmer

(I would have preferred fewer decorations in the room as they sort of get in the way of putting your things in a small space, and the air fresheners or something in the bathroom were very strong.)

The staff were lovely super friendly, I stayed three nights while running in the area. I didn't book the breakfast, but soon decided to as it was fabulous. Thinking of coming back next year.

The breakfast is good and the rooms are big. The breakfast and keys handover is very covid oriented which is nice.

Some parts can use some maintenance but overall the place is well taken care of. The shower temparture is not as constant as one would like to have but not too bad :).

Parking right next to the hotel, very friendly reception, online check-in available to save some time, nive restaurant with an attractive menu and impressive wine list with local wines, spotlessly clean rooms with large bathroom.

Mattress a bit too soft for my taste, depending on which side your room is you may hear the church bells.
