the staff are friendly, the restaurant serves good, hot food and we slept really well there. They sometimes have freshly caught fish on the menu, and do barbecue in the summer. there is a nice beer garden outside which is pleasant in the summer. It is worth reserving a table in the restaurant if you want a table near the window, as these fill up quickly. i particularly like to walk in the woods after driving all day, and there are various routes around the hotel for hikes (and cross country cycling). After hiking, as our Apartment had a bath tub, I could relax in a delicious hot bath before dinner. The area is quiet and peaceful at night for a restful nights sleep.

the curtains in our bedroom didn’t meet in the middle of the window, so I was grateful for the blinds. Breakfast options for gluten and dairy free diets are limited, so do call ahead to ensure they are prepared if you have specific dietary requirements.

This hotel is nice for spending at least one night, I felt I could have stayed there longer so i could have explored more of the trails laying in the sorrounding areas. The breakfast they have at this place is excellent, so you would probably want to have that if you are planning to spend your night at this hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are just the right size and confortable.

The staff is really there for any question or demand. They've been of great help to pick me downhill to the hotel from time to time, and also to the train station on my departure. The place itself is beautiful, if you like the style (old house/cottage). Really nice to stay inside through a rainy day. The surroundings are beautiful too, near some hiking tracks and in the middle of the woods.

The comfort is really basic, especially the tiny bed for my size. Nothing fancy inside the room, and you can hear the other rooms quite well. Breakfast is good, but nothing fantastic. The location is kinda problematic : far from the city center, nearly impossible and dangerous to go there without a car, and the bus leaves you downhill with no way to climb but on the side of the road.

Very beautiful surroundings, hotel located in the middle of the forest. Accessible footpaths starting from the hotel. Very good breakfast and dinner in the restaurant of the hotel with vegetarian options. Bedroom small but convenient and comfortable beds.

We really liked this place, the surroundings and the staff. The owner is an amazing person, willing to go the extra mile in order to help us.

If you don't have a car, the place is a bit isolated, but manageable. The bus station is less than 1 km away. So, if you like to walk, hike and you love the nature this is the place for you.

Very good value for the money.

I found it unusual that neither a bar fridge nor coffee / tea making facilities were provided. Apparently that is typical in Germany. Maybe an improvement to be offered?

Good breakfast - freshly made breadrolls, eggs, cheese, ham, marmelade, fruit, yoghurt, juice, coffee and more. Clean room/apt with enough space for 2 adults and 3 teenagers.

Smell of cigarette-smoke in room and reception, not pleasant at all.

It is a lovely place to stay. Quite and big, comfortable bed. Breakfast was nice. Not a big choice, but everything was fresh

The bath tab was with mould and some signs of body fat . There is no kettle in the room.

My family enjoyed stay in the hotel. Nice location. After great dinner we went for nice walk to the forest. Very good friendly service and tasty breakfast. We will be back next time.

Very clean rooms, nice staff and good food. Good parking space and quiet rooms.

The flushing system of the toilet seat was quite broken. Otherwise I would give excellent rating.
