Super central, most iconic building of the old town. Authentic in the lobby and restaurant however our room had a modern decor. The room was spacious and had all we needed, ironing board, kettle and a mini bar. Good size bathroom with shower products and body lotion. The room has a tablet where you book your breakfast the evening for the following morning. Not enthusiastic as one of the best things about the breakfast is the looking and choosing. However once ordered, the breakfast was very very nice and of good quality.

A little noisy, no air conditioning (although fan is available on request). The third bed for my son was really makeshift, placed at the foot of our bed. It was a fold up bed with a paper thin mattress and his ankles where dangling from the end. Not really a third “bed”. Shame and not what I expected from a 4 star hotel. He was disappointed and didn’t sleep as it was quite uncomfortable.

It was simply stunning. Steeped in history, homely feel. Spacious rooms. The smell of fresh food, the personal space they give you. No knocking on the door to ask if room should be cleaned past a certain time.. they don’t even have a door hanger for “do not disturb” or “make up my room”. They know when the guests are in or out and adjust to that. My 10 year old daughter and I had the best time here. If felt like we were transported through a time portal. We originally planned to stay for 2 nights and then added another since it was so relaxing. Definitely worth visiting Dinkelsbühl. It’s a slower pace of life but it’s so important to do this for the soul

Lack of vegan options. This was my challenge in Germany in general. I eventually found some oats and oat milk. Although the hotel did try their best, it was very limited.

What a fab hotel! The outside and the interior of the hotel is wonderful- some fab historical features with a modern touch. Our room was lovely and right at the front of the hotel with a view of the church and surrounding buildings. When we arrived the guy on reception parked our car in the hotels secure garage area, and took us up to our room and explained how we had to order breakfast on the tablet in the room, which was a good feature. Breakfast in the morning was good too. Also when we checked out we realised once we had driven round the corner that we had left our passports in the safe - utter panic of course! But the lady on reception was very understanding and gladly gave me access to our room again to retrieve said passports! A great hotel in the heart of Dinkelsbuhl

Nothing it was all good 👍🏻

This was the best hotel we stayed at in our Germany trip. Right in the middle of Dinkelsbühl on the town central square. Close to everything. The hotel and its rooms are middle ages decorated, but with modern conveniences and modern baths - exactly what many tourists to Germany will be looking for. Downstairs restaurant was very fancy and tasty, but affordable. I cannot say enough about how great this hotel was. Like a lot of old German city areas, parking was a little complicated: (1) you have to park on the street and get a parking ticket for a 1/2 hour from one of the many parking machines/kiosks (it's Germany - carry coins), but then (2) the hotel thereafter gets your car and parks it in its lot (valet parking).

Central hotel in a popular tourist spot. Comfortable and clean room with all the usual facilities. Evening meal was excellent. Staff speak enough English to get over our non-existant German!

Parking is a hassle as the car had to be taken by one of the staff to be parked elsewhere. Insurance? I do wonder what would happen if the car had been damaged. We signed no indemnity form. The hotel is noisy - bins moved outside at 2300. Church bells at 0600 and every quarter and hour after. Bins emptied mechanically at 0700 so don't expect to sleep in! Just be aware.

The hotel is in a great position and the building deserve a visit. Rooms are big and comfortable (but no air conditioning, at least in our room). Good parking service. The restaurant is very good, be sure to reserve a table.

The breakfast is not at the level you expect from an hotel like that, no buffet service. We asked for an extra croissant and we had to wait more than 20 minutes after that we gave up. But the stuff didn’t apologise and seems quite happy we decided to go away. The lack of air conditioning in the room (at least ours) can be challenging.

The location allowed us to walk everywhere, while our car was securely parked at the hotels parking location.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like! (We’d learned shortly before our stay that the hotel concentrated on serving gay men, so were a little unsure about arriving as a family with a young child, but we found the hotel to be warm and welcoming to everyone! It was perfect!

This is a beautiful historic house in the centre of everything. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very spacious room with a separate bathroom across from the bedroom but within "the Suite".

The beds weren't the most comfortable and the pillows were dreadful.. I didn't like having to order my breakfast the night before. It was quite wasteful as I ordered items (bread) but didn't particularly want the amount given I only wanted one roll but was three.. Oh and if you wanted a lie in, forget it... the munster is directly opposite and the bells rang for service at 6 30 am ...

This is a hotel in a building of historical significance in the centre of Dinkelsbuhl in close proximity to all central attractions. The restaurant and hotel are both very good.

Very little. In hot weather, the rooms really should have been equipped with fans from the outset of the stay rather than provided on request. The building is very old and understandably there is no air conditioning.

The location was right in the square. The parking was easy. The staff were kind!! The house itself felt like you were walking back in time. The room was spacious and even though it didn’t have a/c. It had large windows for cross ventilation and they offered fans. The decor was beautiful and spot on for the period and the restaurant food was delicious! I loved it and would stay there again.
