Very attentative staff with reasonable knowledge of english. Spotless room with large and modern bathroom. Lovely and plentiful breakfast. Free parking in front of the hotel in a quiet village. As a bonus for my dayghter, we found a (small) public playground 100 metrer from the hotel.

We had looked forward to the very inviting selection of dishes in the restaurant. Unfortunately it was reduced to 6 different Flammkuchen (a southern German take on pizza) on the day, probably due to lack of demand on a Sunday evening. Having said that, it was well cooked and absolutely delicious.

Location was close to the highway. We stayed only for 1 night but it is too good for longer stays also. Very clean, free car parking, very peaceful. The bed was very comfortable. Nice breakfast options.

We came at around 9:20 PM (as the checkin was allowed till 10 PM) to see the entrance door was closed and no one came up even after pressing the door bell for 5 minutes. I had to call using the number provided in the booking and only then the receptionist came to help and then it was a smooth checkin process. Its a nice pet friendly hotel in a calm location with an excellent access to A1 motorway.

Unfortunately we arrived late an half hour before the kitchen in the restaurant were closing. The chef were unhappy and we got the "worst" Wiener schnitzel I ever seen, he did not even bother to bang them out, just cut a piece of meat and a discusting pan'e..... and sliced cucumbers, which were just sliced no pickling no nothing. Ok the pmmesfrittes were freshly made....

As I Was touring Germany In A BMW M850i, The fact that the hotel was 2mins away from the Autobahn was perfect location was quite and nice enough not to cause to much concern about leaving the car in the car park Staff were very very nice and helpful the younger ones had very good English which helped as my High School German as I Discovered is very rusty but still charming that the older staff spoke only German, gave it a real family feel as the the young ones would translated hotel was nice and peace full and I enjoyed a lovely Burger and a Local beer for a late dinner / breakfast was plenty full fresh and tasty

nice and modern hotel, everything in perfect condition, sobre and elegant decoration, perfect cleanliness everywhere, excellent welcome and service, very comfortable room, quiet stay (no noise at all), good wifi, excellent dinner, all of this at a very reasonable price. I also liked the desk the right size with 2 convenient electric plugs which allowed me to recharge my cellphone and work comfortably a couple of hours on my computer at the same time.

The only issue was with the shower: I took my shower in the evening and I couldn't get really hot water, it was just lukewarm, at about 30 degrees I guess. A suggestion: the breakfast was fine, good and tasty, but would it be possible to get a cup of hot cocoa (just cocoa powder plus milk, without added sugar that is unhealthy and kills the taste of cocoa?) rather than over-sugared chocolate?

It was a lovely (most likely) family run hotel, with a great restaurant! They spoke good English so I had no communication problems. I stayed in room 021 which was very big, comfortable and spotless clean. I really wished to have the opportunity to visit again with my family for vacation. Of course, you need a car for that area as there are not many things around, but this is something people should read about location before booking the accommodation. For me being with a colleague who was driving it was perfect.

Stopped off 1 night, driving up through to Denmark. A gem of a find.. easy just off the motorway. Super clean and modern hotel, in a quiet, beautiful area. Nothing as all was perfect

An excellent hotel - very comfortable - lovely room and great shower. Breakfast had great choice. Don’t hesitate to choose this if travelling towards Bremen up the A1 - convenient stop off point. We had a good meal in the restaurant at night. We would happily return

I had seen from other reviews that there was no ability to make tea and coffee in the room so we had our own kettle with us. I am still giving the hotel full marks as this did not detract.

Would have liked some bacon for the scramled eggs, however we were late breakfast eaters, and there might have been some, and i didn't ask, otherwise there were all i nedeed. cleanliness was suberb

when i reserved the room with booking.com, they suggested an upgrade for 10€, however i was 40€, it was not possible to cancel this upgrade, i had to cancel the whole thing ,and start from the beginning, it gave a lot of confusion, but maybe i didn't understand the system, no fault of the hotel, but merely a none clear procedure with booking.com otherwise all to our satisfaction

Nice personal and serviceminded, big room and nice beds. Good location, perfect to have the car just around the corner.

The restaurant served fantastic food, the breakfast could have been a little bit bigger and an hour before closing many things were empty. Being a non-smoker the room had an odor that you could smell - actually the whole hotel had this.
