Good location and clean rooms. In house restuarant seems well reviewed, though we only had breakfast there one morning which was fine. Staff were very friendly and helpful, recommending things to see and do. The Christmas markets and main shopping district are a 5 minute walk away, which we enjoyed.

Driveway through to parking lot is a tight squeeze. We had an Audi A6 Avant and it took some careful manoeuvring to fit through. Also 13 euro a night for open parking or 15 for underground. Bathroom was fairly small, with basic shower in a bath arrangement.

Great location right on a square in the city and not far from the AWE museum which, if you are a car person, I recommend. Friendly staff and nice room. Even had a water bowl available for my dog. Nice breakfast with plenty of options.

Not a fault of the hotel, but the public parking garage they recommended would not take any of my credit cards including my debit card. Maybe it only accepted the EC card? In the end, I had to find an bank machine, get cash, and get my car. Again, no fault of the hotel, but it took more time than expected.

We booked this hotel last minute because it was the one night of our vacation when we did not have a hotel reservation. We needed a place to stay in the area, and fortunately found this hotel. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and in the center of the town. The night we arrived, we ate dinner at its restaurant, Leander. It was honestly one of the best meals we had during our stay in Germany. The same restaurant hosts the daily breakfast, and it was also delicious. We would highly recommend staying at this hotel!

We had a lovely 3 nights stay in this beautiful Thüringer Hof hotel, in the heart of Eisenach. The location is very center and easily accessible by car or train. Our room was very comfy and quiet. The spacious bathroom had a bath and a shower and there was plenty of hot water. We had a very generous breakfast at the hotel restaurant every morning, there was really something for everybody to choose from. Dinner at the restaurant was also a treat for a tired traveller and the bar was well equipped. The staff we met were very very friendly and helpful. There was no problem communicating in english with the people at the hotel or almost anywhere in town.

As always in Germany, the pillows in the bed are not that great. The underground parking is very narrow and not easy to access.

This was my second time at the Thueringer Hof and I wholeheartedly recommend the hotel. Everything is perfect, from the friendly and attentive staff to the rooms, perfect location (5min by foot from the train station and close to all attractions and the walking street with many shops) and tasty breakfast (huge choice). The hotel's Leander restaurant deserves kudos as well - it features a great menu (...and tapas to accompany an after work drink) and prices match those of the restaurants in the area.

The hotel is in the heart of the city and it is a nice overall ambience. Rooms are spacious and rather "new" - and modern. Not overdone, just the kind of "normal" hotel I d like to see more often ie not one of those standard chains but also not one of those "very special" boutique things - just a normal hotel where the staff are very friendly and the overall atmosphere is nice and you feel welcome.

The hotel was within a 5 minute walk from the train station so conveniently located with restaurants, shopping and areas of interest closeby. The bus to Wartburg Castle stops at Karlsplatz where the hotel is located. The hotel is lovely, our room was immaculate, beds comfortable, coffee and refrigerator in the room. The breakfast was outstanding.

I have no dislikes, the property was excellent.

Location of the hotel is excellent. The room was clean and tidy, everything was good. On-site parking is convinient.

Our room was on the first floor and all we could see from our window was a wall. The bathroom had a really strong smell of mold even though it was well cleaned.

Room was comfortable, the breakfast had plenty of options and the location of the hotel is very central and easy to access everything by foot. This is what we wanted: we parked the car and we didn’t use it till we left. The

The mattress was heavily used. It was very soft especially in the middle. I suggest to change the mattress soon. After a day of hiking, I would prefer a harder mattress to rest.

The location was excellent, the clensiness was top rate. Breakfast, dinners and deserts were top notch.

I have not stayed in a hotel where you could not make yourself a tea or coffee in your bedroom. There was no facilities for this in the Vienna House Hotel, which I found disappointing. One of the two reception staff we meet was cheerful and helpful but the other was miserable.
