The location was perfect for us as it's a very short walk to the massive market place. The room was clean and bright and the staff were friendly.

We were on a Harley Davidson trike, and expected a car park. There wasn't one, it was on-street parking and only for about 6 vehicles. Although the market place car park was only a short distance away, it difficult to use when we have 3 bags, motorcycle clothing and really bad weather. We did manage to park on the road, we took the last space and didn't move until the day we checked out. When we booked, the information stated there was air conditioning, maybe there was, but not in our room.

Great location, lovely spacy single room in the attic, tasty breakfast, lovely staff, the hotel is traditional, clean and comfortable.

One thing I didn't like is how breakfast staff was treated. This guy did a very good job, was superfriendly and even remembering what kind of coffee you drank the last day and so on. Still he was constantly scolded at and guests could hear that. This made me feel uncomfortable and I am sure other guests too. It is nice to have a traditional hotel, but please train your staff and talk to them in a mild manner. There is no elevator in the hotel, just rather steep steps. I personally didn't mind, but this might be an inconvenience to others.

bathroom is big

check out time is early at 11:00 when I was packing my luggage round 11:10, the hotel lady opened my door. I can’t accept this kind of way, which was not polite not professional and not acceptable. she can call my room to give us a reminder. however, other hotel staff were nice and helpful

Very comfy , very clean room. Excellent restaurant with superb food and great breakfast. Lovely very helpful staff as well. Parking is a little difficult with very few actually close to the hotel

See above about the parking. Also it would be useful to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Good price and good location for my work

The receptionist did not check with the accounting department and she asked me to pay when I checked out. WHen I told that I paid money via internet already. She checked it again and she said it was fine

Extremely friendly staff. Cosy family feeling. First class restaurant. Nicely located, close to the city square. Would definately book again if returning to Freudenstadt.

An elevator.

Clean rooms and a good location with free parking right in front of the hotel (though limited). Breakfast was really good and hotel staff is very friendly.

Lights in the corridors switch off automatically (to preserve power I guess). This is fine, but the light switches aren’t that easy to locate and I missed them a couple of times. Installing a motion detector in stead of switches would do the trick.

Everything is perfect! The room is clean and the host is extremely friendly. I love the breakfast! Perfect trip at Black Forest!

It wasn't clear how to enter the hotel from which door - the guidance confusing Next to main road, at the night and early morning loud noises from the road - need to close the windows for silence
