The hotel is very close to the train station, which is very convenient for travelers like us who are only staying for one night before heading to the next destination. Please note that the hotel entrance is around the corner on a side street, not at the front. Check-in is done via a machine, likely just to verify your registration details, so if the information on your booking is outdated, please be aware of your own details. The room is quite spacious. Another highlight is that the hotel offers free luggage storage! Isn't that great

All is great but the bathroom is a bit small.

Fantastic location, close to the station, quiet, easy and quick communication with owner, clean, fully equipped. Overall, everything was great! I fully recommend this hotel and might stay here again if I find myself in the area.

The WiFi was a bit unstable (kept turning on and off), and the hallway lighting (outside the room) was very flickery (not great for someone with epilepsy).

First of all, this is a budget hotel. So the review is based on this. - Location: it's really amazing and convenient location. It's at the backside of Bahnhof which is called Franziskusplatz. Walking to the lake is just 5 mins. 2 mins to Bahnhof. - Rooms: I got the room for 40€ for one night from Booking.com and based on the 40€ price, the room was really good. You can see the pictures. There were 2 beds, table, chair, wardrobe, Water heating kettle, coffee and tea packs. In the washroom, there was a big bathtub, toilet, washbasin, hair dryer, etc. Everything was very clean and well maintained. But overall thumbs up for a budget hotel room -Self checkin/checkout: when you enter the hotel, you can enter your name on the self check in automat and get the keys haslefree. There is also a hotline number of you face any issue. And check out is also very simple. Just drop your keys in the box below the automat and say buy to the hotel. So this was something cool. - Staff: as it is self check in and check out, there is no staff present in the hotel. They might be nearby buildings, but i did not see them. But this hotel is really good for short term travellers, quick business visitors etc. Liked the hotel.

The only issue was with the shower/bathtub. There was dirty water from the shower for some time. This might be because they might have cleaned the pipes.

The location is excellent, reaally close to the train station. The check-in is automated, 24/7, which is very helpfun when arriving late at the city. The bedroom is well furnished and offers all the traditional amenities (minibar, TV, towels, things for bathing, etc). The cost-benefit is very good.

There was only one thing I didn't like, but it did not impact the stay in any significant way, it was just a detail: the shower didn't work, I needed to take a bath instead of a shower. Otherwise, very good.

Automated 24h check in and the location is perfect for when you're stranded because of train delays.

The shower location in the room can cause some water to get into the rest of the room.

There was no breakfast advertised or provided, so that met expectations. The shower was the best I have ever experienced. The hotel did not have any parking spaces, but the city parking lot they recommended was very handy and just across the street.

The WLAN seemed a bit intermittent.

Great location and easy instructions to follow for the unmanned, self check-in. The room was as needed, and good for my one night stay in Friedrichshafen. Comfortable bed, sufficient bathroom, and nice that there is a water kettle too.

The shower door let some water drain onto the bathroom floor. This was only a little though, and easy to mop up with a towel. If you are arriving before the check-in time, it would be a good idea to clarify with the owners if baggage storage would be possible, seeing that the reception is unmanned.

Easy and quick self check in. Very silent. Very very clean, both common spaces and rooms. Comfortable bed. Free self luggage storage. Excellent location, directly in front of the train station, a bakery opposite the road, couple of minutes walk from the lakefront and the central streets.

Actually with the DB strike this hotel almost saved my life, they have a great check in system where you can enter the hotel before 1 am and check in yourself. so I completed check in myself and got myself a key. otherwise with an unexpectedly cancelled train would sleep on the street.
