Great location up on the hill with a pleasant view over the town. Guest parking quite tight but got a spot ok. It may depend on when you arrive though there are more spaces on the road leading to the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff on the desk. They gave me a kettle for my room upon asking. Quick check-in/out. The whole interior of the hotel appears to have been refurbished recently so everything looks nice and new. Stayed in a room in a wide curved corridor which meant outside noise was reduced to a minimum. No problem with noise from neighbouring rooms either. Cleanliness excellent and the bathroom also looked new. Balcony caught the sun in the afternoon. Bed was firm but comfortable, duvet was hot even with air con at 19°C so you may have to experiment a bit to get the temperature right. Could leave window open but there is probably a bit too much outside noise on that side of the building on the 2nd floor. In addition to the usual hard desk chair there is a comfortable chair for reading or watching TV. TV picture good, channel choice not great, largely just the standard German ones and some international news. Wifi connection straightforward without having to provide personal details, speed perhaps not the fastest but was good enough for streaming. In conclusion, would stay here again.

Coffee, i only drink filter coffee, because i don't like coffee from caps, it leaves to me a taste in my mouth i don't like. I did try one cup but that was it. I normally drink a whole pot of coffee a day. Thats the only thing i didn't like, the rest was great and i will tell family and friends thats to place to go

Comfortable, big room, clean, well-equipped. Tge staff is excellent. The restaurant even with the temporarily limited menu offered pleasant selection besutifully prepared and served with the highest attention. The service was a separate 5*! And the offered wines were excellent!

I highly recommend staying at the Schlossberg Hotel, especially at the City Residenz, which belongs to the hotel and is in the inner city. ROOM ITSELF: I’ve lived there for several months, and the studio was unquestionably well-equipped: kitchen supplies, minibar, microwave, TV, Wi-Fi, wardrobes, washing machine in the basement... The bathroom has also a very modern design, the shower is amazing and the hotel provides the guests with some fancy and practical toiletries. I'd also add that I've never had loud or inconvenient neighbors there. CLEANING: Every week a cleaning team would show up, and not only were they thorough enough to change the bedsheets and leave some fresh towels, but were also very friendly. LOCATION: simply amazing, right in the heart of Homburg and within walking distance from pretty much anything you’d need to go in the city (Uniklinik: 20 minutes, Train station: 10 Minutes, Supermarkt: 5 Minutes – and so on). CUSTOMER SERVICE: The exceptional thing about my stay there was the service of the Schlossberg Hotel. Whenever there was a problem or request by me, the hotel’s staff attended to it quickly and effectively. Everyone was always friendly, helpful and just a call or an e-mail away. It is as if I was somehow “invited” the whole time. Their attentive service highly contributed to my overall exceptional experience while living there. A big thank you to the whole team! =)

Nothing. I have no complaints or suggestions on improving. It's the first time that has ever happened to me because as a hotel owner in Brazil I'm always observing other places where I stay.

I have been staying at the Schlossburg since 2002, which included some extended stays while we were relocating to Germany and moving back. Great, friendly staff, views from the balcony that are "to die for" and great food/drink. Thank you for a great experience once again.

All good - only could have been better if my visit would have allowed me to stay longer!

It was clean and the staff was very nice

On the map it looked like the hotel is located in the central part if the city. But actually it is located on the top of a hill and walking to the central part is almost impossible

Location on top of the hill, close to the ruin and caves. The new rooms are very nice, modern, practical and spacious.

It truly is a ver ugly building on the outside. View from balcony is severely impeded by an ugly industrial flat roof…you can only look at the horizon and not down to the city centre.

Beautiful view! Very near to my customer Karlsberg. With the European Football match with Germany that night, there was a lot of entertainment in the city which I could hear very well in my room with the windows open, but that was good fun!

Everything was amazing and modern .We only stayed for one night next time we’ll spend more .So much to do around there .The view was beautiful we had a long balcony .

Absolutely excellent. Service was second to none and nothing was too much trouble. Food was outstanding and the staff made our stay an absolute pleasure. Would highly reccomend!
