We chose the hotel for its location opposite the city train station (S8 line), which connects to both Munich (30 min) and Munich airport (13 min). The location was safe, quiet, and clean. Our room and bathroom were nicely refurbished, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel had a restaurant which offered Bavarian style pub foods all day round. A beergarden and at least one Italian restaurant were within walking distance from the hotel.

Since our room was not air-conditioned and the region experienced an unseasonal heat wave, we needed to open the windows at night for cool air. Unfortunately, the windows had no fly screens, so the mozzies had a feast on us. Another negative was the noise and loud music coming from the kitchen, which during our stay only stopped when the kitchen closed at 9 pm..

Very close to the station, good for airport connection. Staff were pleasant and courteous. The included breakfast was fair, but not outstanding.

Reception closes early some days, including public holidays. We had to make a phone call (international) to gain admittance. Came very quickly, must have been on the premises. So maybe a door intercom, or even just a bell, could be an alternative to posting a phone number on the door. Beds were rather soft. No fridge.

Excellent location, just 2 or 3 minutes walk from the Ismaning S-Bahn station, which is roughly half-way between Munich airport and the city. Ismaning itself is a picturesque and quiet town, so an ideal spot to relax before or after long-distance travel. I had a spacious and comfortable room, with great wifi, and tea-making facilities. Also the breakfast was healthy and varied, and the hotel has a cafe/restaurant serving traditional Bavarian meals. One other thoughtful touch was a bowl of crisp fresh apples in the hallway.

On the Friday night there were some noisy passers-by, but this did not detract much from an otherwise very good stay.

A spotlessly clean and well maintained family operated hotel. I received a warm welcome and assistance with my luggage on arrival. My single room was comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was fresh and had everything I needed. Hotel und Gasthof Soller is an excellent option if you need to overnight near Munich Airport. Ismaning is only 3 stops away on the S8. Ismaning is a neat town with excellent restaurant choices and supermarkets all within easy walking distance.

Breakfast was lovely, the hotel was right across the street from the train station, a short ride from the airport. The neighborhood was pleasing to walk in with nice parks and good paths. The room was spacious and comfortable. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and it was quite good.

No complaints.

It is a quiet location right on the S-Bahn line making it ideal for an ovenight stay close to the airport.

Having arrived in the evening I was informed that there was no dinner service at the hotel. The lady at the reception however was very helpful and gave me directions to a good locale less then 300 metres away from the hotel.

Good choice of cold meat and cheeses , together with the usual excellent German bread rolls at breakfast. Very good restaurant food but note closed on Sundays/ Mondays. Just across road from S Bahn with easy connection to airport and city. No aircon in rooms but comfortable with open window for sleeping. Will stay here again when next in Munich area.

Really perfect location for MUC airport, the hotel situated actually much more convenient than others which seem to be closer when looking at the map. It's better to have 10 min ride with S-Bahn from this hotel than bother with calling a taxi from closer ones as they don't have a convenient connection with public transportation.

Very pleasant stuff, rooms and all facilities are very clean and neat. The restaurant on the hotel terrace has amazing food (full recommendation!).

The rooms are a bit outdated. Also, my bed mattress was unfortunately very uncomfortable (which wasn't the case on my previous stay, so it depends on the room).

Very accessible with the S-Bahn. Just a few stops from Munich airport. And it's 2 minutes walk from the S-Bahn station. The location is very quiet. This is a family-run hotel with excellent food (their family's homemade recipes). The bedding was superior. The room was very clean. They even let me check in early.
