Perfect location close to the motorway, on our drive from Belgium to Austria. The room was very cosy and stylish. The shower was excellent. The breakfast was varied with enough choices to meet our expectations. We had dinner in the restaurant the evening we arrived, and the food was very delicious and reasonably priced.

The bedroom was very comfortable and modern. Staff were very helpful and friendly, good breakfast and nice evening meal.

On the edge of an industrial estate. This didn't really affect us as we were using it as a stopover for our journey from Northern Italy up to Europoort in the Netherlands. It was minutes away from the Autobahn.

Lovely hotel, luxurious family room. Very comfortable beds.. Coffee/tea facilities in the room and a nicely decorated lounge/bar/restaurant area downstairs. Private parking. Great hotel to have stayed overnight on our way to Austria!

The hotel is in an area with a lot of construction activity. There was no noise from it when we stayed overnight on our way to Austria, but I can imagine it isn't great if you consider staying longer...

Felt right at home. Everyone is very friendly. The room was clean and smelled good. The food (restaurant and breakfast) were also a huge plus. All in all Hotel Winterrot was a pleasant surprise!

Hotel is situated on an industrial / business park. While this gives plenty of parking space (if you don't want to use the free gated hotel parking), when sleeping with the windows open it can get a bit noisy with lorries in the morning.

Staff were helpful and pleasant.

Fridge in the room did not cool down anything. Single beds put together for a double bed with nothing keeping them in place instead of a big bed. Also the duvets where given as medium size not suited for a double bed.

The staff were all very friendly both at reception and in the restaurant. The room was decorated to a high standard. It felt like we were staying at a much more expensive hotel. We had both breakfast and an evening meal and they were delicious. Lovely place to spend my birthday evening.

Other front receptionist who shamed me for not knowing my room number - I had gone straight from the car park to the room as my husband had checked in - and who corrected his recollection of the room number from 15 to zero one five without a smile! Restaurant is expensive for poor quality food although staff were lovely.

However not my personal taste, the room and bathroom are designed in a luxury fashion with attention to detail. Very neatly cleaned, very comfortable beds, plenty storage room for clothing available. Various (4 in total iirc) lightning options available in my room.

The optional was breakfast was quite an expensive option via booking.com. I went for a breakfast at a local German bakery along the road.

booked for location and price although with breakfast it came in at €158 for the night which was probably more than I wanted to pay. Nice, clean room with coffee machine. small bathroom but good shower. Good dinner in the restaurant.

location is in the middle of an industrial estate so don’t book for the view. Hotel has been open a year. Delightful staff but I sense a little lacking in cohesion. Irritating that the wall mounted TV comes on every time you put the card into slot to activate room lights. Breakfast didn’t rock my boat and is certainly not worth €32 although a varied choice.

staff were fabulous, whole hotel was immaculate, I’d say either brand new or like brand new.. room was big and bed was comfy. i was just passing/commuting and it’s location was perfect near the motorway on my journey, location was perfect for me

breakfast could’ve been better, but it was good and all tasty, sauna looked great but with no pool we didn’t bother
