Personal very friendly (Gareth, Alexandra an Andrew). The personal at the breakfast room were also very friendly. The beds: sleepy electrics beds. Incfedible and very confortable; You can also choose the kind of cousins you like! Ehe night of Saturday was very nice: an spectacle of the city with a lot of lights. Very nice.

Nobody tell us or warned us that on Sunday morning there was the annual city marathon and that all the streets will be blocked for car traffic. We could not leave! We had to wait until 12 noon for a break to "escape" thanks to the cooperation of the hotel staff and the fire brigade! This is the reason why we have lowered our rating (8 instead of 10). It was very very frustrating to have to wait to get out. I think a "reminder" in town or in the corridors of the hotel about this annual event should have been announced. But we repeat: very friendly, effective, patient and understanding staff!

Everything about the place was great. Even the little touches like having umbrellas that guests can use (we needed them!). Very spacious room. Our room overlooked the back so there was no noise.

Great location in the centre of town. Easy walk to restaurants and the Palace. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was very comfortable. We were travelling with our daughter who appreciated the room layout with a living area with sofa bed that was separated from the bedroom. Room was well furnished, clean and the beds were very comfortable. We found the room to be very quiet despite the location downtown. We travelled with our family dog, who was welcomed without any issues. There is a small fee for the dog to stay, but it was quite reasonable.

There is parking at the hotel. They have an underground garage adjacent to the hotel. That said, it's not obvious that it belongs to the hotel, so we hunted for a parkade nearby. If you plan on parking there, I would suggest getting directions from the hotel on how to access their lot in advance.

The location is perfect if you travel by train and if you want to visit the main sights of the city. Super efficient check-in and check-out and the staff is really nice and helpful. The gentleman at the reception was super generous and kind. He even allowed me a late check out being understanding of my headache. Tasty breakfast with many options to try out and good coffee.

The mattress and bed are quite old and uncomfortable for people with (lower) back issues. The price per night is a bit high in my humble opinion.

The hotel is at Marktplatz, right at the heart of Karlsruhe. Modern room with good beds, air conditioning and sound proofed from the outside noises. Plenty of hot water, bathtub/ shower properly shielded so no water spillage on the bathroom floor. Breakfast selection was good.

In the room we got, the toilet space is narrow -- nestled between the big sink and the wall. This might be difficult for some guests. The ventilation of the bathroom could be better, there were some black spots on the ceiling.

Perfectly located on the central Marktplatz square gives you perfect access to all sites in every direction. It's where the action radiates. The hotel is so cool and has a real old-world feel with modern amenities. The staff are so nice and make you feel welcome. We had the coolest room overlooking the main square, where Composer Robert Wagner lived for 12 years! This hotel is a historical gem and immerses you in the culture and history of Karlsruhe. It's near some awesome restaurants, and the breakfast was complete. We loved it and were fully satisfied with the start to the day. The coffee was excellent too. I would come back in a heartbeat and it's right next to the S Bahn so you can get here so easily and quickly. The S7 goes straight to Baden Baden!

All the staff we spoke to were very attentive and helpful: on check-in, when we arrived later with our car and needed access to the parkhaus, and then also on check-out. When I initially went down to breakfast, there was unfortunately no space in the breakfast room: every table was taken. This was no problem for me to come back later, but the member of staff went out of her way to go fetch me a coffee to take back with me while I waited. This was a nice touch.

The hotel has a disadvantage with breakfast: the drinks can be collected in a little hallway between the kitchen and the breakfast area. That hallway was often crowded with people like me, desperate to get their morning coffee. It did not help that the coffee machine was not always responding to our commands. Staff kept an eye on that, and jumped in when there were difficulties between this very machine and guests. However, the staff were, of course, also busy with other tasks like cleaning tables. I also got the impression that they were understaffed, and very well good use an extra hand. My compliments for the fact they remained so patient and nice to us guests whilst very busy with work!

.Everything was perfect. The staff is polite, friendly, and competent. The rooms are clean and comfortable, furnished with everything you need. The breakfast is varied and delicious. I am happy that I was in this hotel. I strongly recommend it. I wish all the staff to be healthy and to continue to be professional.

Great hotel in the center of Karlsruhe. Closed parking for an additional fee of 15 euros. Dogs allowed 10 euros per dog per night. But, for a walk with a dog, you need to go to the park, since there is no green area nearby. Super tasty and varied breakfast buffet. There is no street noise in the room. But, there are earplugs. Free water, cola and beer in the fridge. There is also tea and kettle in the room.
