very friendly staff, menu had good options for everybody, food tasty and good value also enjoyed the breakfast really lovely location on the water edge!! Outdoor eating and bar area, restaurant ems-island and breakfast area inside all modern, varied, interesting, tasteful and actually special - with the right weather it was really lovely there. Also the pool is nice and actually a "proper" pool, long enough to do several strokes. Sauna etc looked good but no time to try

of course we would have loved if there would have been a family room for us.. the bedding (esp. filling, both cushions and cover) actually really felt quite "polyestery" the room were "perfect" = very good condition of furniture carpet, curtains and all comforts and clean - nothing to complain! Just simply lacking "style".... - bland and boring. Probably one eye catching (coloured or wallpapered) wall plus more "statement"/modern framed picture would already do a lot.... It is obvious there have already been several modernising investments in the property over the last years - and all done with very tastefully, so the rooms will follow one day.

The location was great and the hotel looked amazing. Our room was lovely and well appointed. The food in the restaurant was great. We returned to the hotel on our return journey because we liked it so much.

We had 4 rooms booked and I was informed that the single rooms were 'very basic'. Sitting at an outside table for dinner, there was a persistent issue with wasps on both visits.

excellent location ner the dutch border, although near town the location is lovely adjacent to the junction of two waterways, really good restaurant and breakfast, would highly recommend as a stopover if in the area

Rooms were spacious and the view from the hotel is fabulous. Breakfast is also good with a reasonable price of €6. We also liked the pool , Sona options. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent room - spacious and comfortable. Spa and sauna nice - pool was quite small. Good choice at breakfast.

No coffee making facilities in the bedroom.

Lovely location, surrounded by water, in the summer it must be wonderful. The staff were friendly, the restaurant had a good selection of food at reasonable prices. The buffet breakfast was also very good.

The pillows on the bed were rather large. Usually the reverse is true, but these were overstuffed and difficult to use. But this was not a reason to complain, everything else was first rate perhaps it's just my personal preference.

very very friendly service throughout the hotel. From housekeeping, to Spa to restaurant outstanding service. Special call out to the colleague who didn't even mind that our kids walked all over the floor he had just mopped in the spa. He was so friendly and even brought us towels. Lovely service throughout. Great athmosphere in the restaurant, cosy but lively. Would eat out there again any time.
