I recently stayed at the Hotel Graf Rolshausen for a holiday getaway, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities such as a comfortable bed, flat-screen TV, The bathroom was also spotless, with clean and comfort linen. One thing that stood out to me was the hotel's breakfast, with great spread The hotel's location was also a plus, as it was centrally located and within walking distance of many restaurants, and attractions.

I really liked the hotel. It has this old and authentic vibe which I really like. The place was also really clean, and the bathroom had a blow dryer. The breakfast was also very nice.

It wasn't a big deal, but our room didn't have a small fridge. We didn't bring any food, but if we did, we didn't have the possibility to keep it cold. Also, the wifi didn't work all the time, and it was not clear to us why the connection stopped. These are, however, minor issues.

The room was very big, rustic looking. We got the suite, so the bathroom had a big jacuzzi in very good condition. The breakfast was very good, and staff very nice and efficient. Although they did not speak English, the owner was nice enough to speak very slowly so I could understand.

Lacked personal details like a fridge, complementary drinks (since we got the suite)... Just little details. Also the restaurant only opens in weekends which was a shame.

A great breakfast. A lovely, quiet and historic hotel with authentic and traditional décor. Felt like the place was frozen in time, in a good way. The location is perfect: inside Monschau.

The host was a bit cold and only spoke German (not an issue for me but may be for others).

Very nice hotel; as expected in a German old town. No stainless steel and chrome, but classic wooden interior. Spacious room and a very comfortable double bed. Good breakfast!

Not easy to reach by car; you have to park in a carpark and walkup to the hotel. Would have been nice if they'd put up some signs, so you'd find the shortest route quickly

very old historic property in excellent condition right in the centre of town, but still in a quiet area. Room 32 on third floor was spacious with classic German oak furniture. The super king sized firm bed remarkably comfortable and the linen a joy. Pillows and duvets super soft down. The included breakfast was a good example of a solid German meal.

Coffee and tea making facilities would have been nice. The large jacuzzi fine, but the shower arrangement not the best.

Great relation price-quality. Rooms are nice, clean and have everything you need. Hotel is well located and has amazing design keeping up with the spirit of the town. Breakfast was great.

Staff really doesn’t make any effort for you to feel welcome. They seemed offended that we didn’t speak German.

The character of the hotel and its deco. It was rustic and all in line with its setting, age and style. We loved the typical German style.

It was a pity the hotel was low staffed and therefore they were not able to run the restaurant, which seemed like a wonderful setting in the cellar.

This is a lovely old hotel, with beams and at the weekend a restaurant in the cellars. Very atmospheric. Excellent choice of breakfast. Ideally situated for exploring Monschau. There is lots to see and do in this quaint little town.

No tea and coffee making facilities.

Well placed, confortable, close to a public parking (you cannot go in the old town by car, luckily!) Overall, very charming for a romantic weekend.

A beautiful old building but obviously no elevator - don't bring heavy luggage if you stay in this hotel
