The location was very good, close proximity to the metro station. We liked that it had a parking and the bathroom was very clean.

I didn't like that the kitchenette was dusty. The coffee maker and toaster were also dirty. The sofa where you ate was also spotty and dirty. You need to do something about that too. One of the towels had blood stains on it and a pillow case had make-up on it since the arrival. I know it wasn't mine because I didn't use any.The linens were never changed during our 7days stay only the towels. You need to do better next time.

Clean and location close to the subway

I wish they included salt and pepper and/or olive oil in the kitchen. I also could not get the AC to work and the window was closed and locked. Also wish for the price they offered a free welcome drink-was misleading in the email and thought this was included. They also only provided one espresso capsule for 2 people for a 2 night stay, without cream/sugar

Perfectly equipped room, big, clean, and aesthetically well composed. A lot of "smart" technology like a option to play music in the mirror in the bathroom. We travelled in winter and loved the option to control the air-conditioning system. Metro station (U3 line) is 5-7 minutes walking, very easy to reach the centre. There's few nice restaurants nearby. Edeka, Rossman and Aldi (Supermarkets) are a few minutes away walking. Planty of free parking on a side of the road near the hotel. Very quiet area. It was completely silent at night (and we slept with open window) The stuff in reception was lovely, very friendly and helpful. Everything was designed in Brazilian style, even the music in the lobby. There's a cute terrace in the 7th floor (too cold in winter but surely nice when it's warmer outside) Definitely recommend this hotel!

I sent a couple of emails to the hotel before we arrived with some questions, and I got only the automatic reply.. they never answered. But everything went OK when we arrived. The bed is not so comfortable.

we stayed 10 days at Rioca to attend an international Music competition. although hotel is 25 minutes driving from city center (only 7 km but slow traffic and speed limits), it is a real good choice : calm area, parking around is possible, 2 big supermarkets nearby; and a very comfy bed, great bathroom. very welcoming and smiling personnel. decoration of the modern studios and the common areas are very sunny and joyful. Weather was really rainy so we did not benefit from the top terrasse, but this is a nice idea. I fully support decision of cleaning every 3 days instead of every day. thanks to my bonus points on booking, I only paid 620€ for 10 days : incredible rate for that comfort.

for stays of a week and more, we would have appreciated bigger dusbins. Breakfast of 19 euros is too expensive. lower price would motivate residents to come downstairs and share breakfast with others. equipment and kitchen attire for actually cooking is really poor.

Spacious rooms. Clean & well equipped. Nice design. Good wifi connection. The staff was very friendly and there was a positive, relaxing vibe all around. We had a great price for 7 nights (compared to similar accomodations within the same time interval). It’s located away from the crowded city center in an area that seemed very quiet & peaceful. We had our own car but also used the s-bahn a couple of times which gets you to Marienplatz (city hall) in ~15mins. 3 super markets are available a couple of minutes away (right next to the s-bahn access). Drinks from the bar were very good. Free parking spaces are available at street level

The breakfast was great with plenty options but a bit overpriced imo Didn’t bother us but it’s worth mentioning that the hotel doesn’t have it’s own restaurant

We loved our stay here! The rooms are gorgeous and have such fun, warm decorations. There are Bluetooth speakers in the room you can connect to, the TV is big and you can cast your screen to it as well. The wifi is great, and you get unlimited hot drinks from reception! The vibe is chill and fun, and the staff are lovely. Our room even had one of those hanging egg chairs in it! There were lots of nice lights and lamps, and you could change the colour of the lights behind the bed. There were so many small touches at this hotel that made it amazing. We would definitely come back here again. The area is quiet and you are a 2 minute walk away from the station, and from a grocery store. It's very quick to get into the city centre. The curtains are block out and we didn't have any issues with sound proofing. The kitchenette was well equipped although we didn't actually end up using it much! Super comfy bed and spacious rooms. You can chill on the lounge/chairs at the small table or in the egg chair. There is a lift or stairs you can take.

There isn't much else in the area but again it's easy to get to the city centre. We found the room slightly too warm for our liking (this is in winter) and changing the thermostat/heaters didn't seem to help. But you can easily open the windows for some fresh air so it wasn't really an issue.

The room was tidy and cozy. There was a small kitchenette in the room including a spacious fridge and necessities such as plates and cups etc. That was nice if not planning to buy breakfast. Moreover, it was a great bonus that one was allowed to get free coffee from coffee machines which were located in the lobby. The hotel's interior design is colorful and funky and far away from boring. The neighborhood itself was, however, a bit boring if seeking active nightlife or lively restaurants - however, it did not bother us since there were both subway and train stations nearby and other parts of the city could be reached easily.

It was possible to do a pre-checking online which I also did, and it seemed that it worked well. However, it did not so we still had to check in again at the reception which took a bit longer since it apparently did not work out with the other guests either and everyone was checking it at the same time. Nevertheless, maybe they have already fixed the issue with the pre-checking by now. The staff was helpful though.

Let me start with the Property itself; The hotel is perfectly located near train stations, local grocery stores, and bike trails. The Rio Dejanero theme is awesome! very creative, and inspiring, somewhat unexpected for Germany. The talented designer created a fun environment for the guests.  The BEST part of our experience was the hospitality and the people working at the hotel/bar. The gem(s) of this hotel are the people that made our visit a memorable experience for us. From the moment we checked in to the hotel we felt welcomed, we had fun nights at the hotel bar, and we felt at home. Matheus and Melissa were the highlight of our stay at the hotel, they were so friendly and hospitable catering to all guests but making each guest feel like family. Leticia the manager and the rest of the staff were also very friendly making sure all the accommodations were above and beyond.  Overall the commendations were top notch but the people made our trip even more memorable and that has no price! Thanks again Matheus and Melissa for a wonderful time, we hope to see you soon!! We liked the overall atmosphere and the welcoming attitude of the staff. Also facilities were good. Possibility of accepting delivery package on our behalf was really appreciated and the additional storage provided was really helpful for us. Having the washing & drying machines at the basement was also a good option to have.

We know maybe it's not the hotel's direct issue but the Air-conditioning wasn't as we expected and the weather was hot. The location was bit far from the city center and the airport; however, access to supermarkets was easy as many options were close by.

EVERYTHING!!! This smart apartment surpassed our expectations. We were amazed by wireless charging and modern bluetooth speaker units (also included in the mirror of the bathroom) - owner's advice on where this modern unit can be bought will be highly appreciated :). Cozy bed, fully equipped kitchen, friendly staff and perfect location for a tourist or anybody who wants to use public transportation instead of renting a car. Every transport is close to the hotel - Metro, S-Bahn and bus. We will definitely visit Rioca again!!
