Fantastic and beautiful location! Nice view from our balcony. The appartement was big and clean, happy with the small kitchen, with enough utensils. The wellness area was clean and nice. Personnel were friendly and helpful. We also really enjoyed the fresh breakfast and were happy with lots of lactose free options.

Only minor downside was it being a bit noisy as we could hear the neighbors sometimes.

The place is beautiful, the flats are clean and tidy . Everything you need is in the flat. comfortable beds. Rooms are bigs . Nice breakfast. Good location

The only thing was that they don't supply any tea or coffee capsules. You can buy capsules, but in these level of property, you accept to have it in the rooms. The same is about Shampoo or lotion.

As this was a short notice 2 nights stay while taking our grandchildren to Steinwasenpark, the location was actually very convenient. Hotel itself is nice and a good value for money. Room was very spacious and nice. Breakfast was OK, nothing special. You can't order an extra egg dish until you take the scrambled eggs from the buffet. Dinner tasted nice, although the pricing is on the high end. The 'Kalbsteak' off the menu as a single dish was offered at more than 50 Euro ... that's crazy. Half board guests seemed to enjoy their options, but it also seems they compensate and try to make money with full paying dinner guests. I'd still recommend the hotel but would dine elsewhere, as we already did the second night.

The staff is very friendly, we truly felt welcome and immediately received tips on what to do in the neighbourhood. We liked the style of the hotel, its traditional German with character. In addition the hotel has a nice, charming restaurant with a good menu. For us, the fact that the hotel even had a spa area was truly a bonus. We enjoyed it a lot during our stay.

The room didn't have air-conditioning and we couldn't really leave the window open as there was a constant noise of water running next to our room.

Stayed in the apartment block which was new and modern with all amenities. It was quiet even though my room was on the first floor. Lovely balcony to sit out in the evenings. I used this as a base to travel around the Black Forest area and visit the quaint towns in that region.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, clean. Very cute hotel, we stayed in the newly built apartments which were air-conditioned, which is very welcome in the hot summers we will continue to have.

Beds were a bit on the firm side to our liking, but if that's your thing then it probably won't bother you.

Very nice family-run hotel with helpful and friendly staff. We stayed in the recently new-built apartments, so everything was new and functioned very well (airco, wifi, good bed) and very clean. We rented electric mountain-bikes from the hotel. The breakfast was good and the diner was excellent.

It was a bit of a disappointment that the hotel did not serve any drinks on the terrace before 17:30 and also on a Wednesday (rest-day). This was especially disappointing as there is no supermarket in the village and very little (to none) alternative.

Price for appartment was very good and the appartment was almost brand new in its appearance. Very comfortable and roomy and with a large balcony.

Location was remote but we knew that - and we had a car which is necessary in Oberried. Restaurant was expensive but good food. If you have an appartment it would be better to cook.

Big and quiet room, clean and great facilities on hotel grounds. Extra friendly staff (kids friendly too!). Beautiful setting (stream, mountains), a little playground for the kids. Very good breakfast.

Room was very clean, but they will not remove dirty dishes or trash every day.

we loved it. we stayed in the old part which was amazing, the best part of the hotel, very typical, with lots of historical details, dressed up in typical dresses, breakfat was great, rooms very spacuous and cosy. parking in site very convenient. the children park was great, with two little cars to ride, they loved it. the town was in the forest soo nice
