Helpful friendly staff. Our room and bathroom was modern and comfortable and clean. We had a lovely deck with a view of the lake. A really nice place to stay. Ionela at the front desk was so sweet and kind.

The location is excellent if you want to visit Herreninsle & other sights on or neard the lake as a short time stay or long time stay to just enjoy the area what they have to offer. The parking is right in front of the hotel. The room was really big and comfy and nicely decorated. The breakfast was super great!

Just that there is no lift and our room was in the 2nd floor. And also, the room does not have aircon - that was a little weird since in the summer it could get really hot.

Very nice, dog friendly and clean hotel. We were offered a free upgrade which was lovely. The rooms are modern and comfortable. Breakfast is vast and the quality and quantity is excellent. I would return and stay longer.

For my liking I could have done with another pillow but we only stayed one night, so it was OK. Excellent selection of coffees in the room but no milk or sugar. Again, not an issue because we had everything with us. That said, I am sure that had we asked for anything, it would have been provided.

the staff were very helpful to us as was just myself and grandson & only English there so reception staff were exceptional. The breakfast was really good and good choice.

we were on top floor and staff quarters were above us so cld hear them late at night moving about etc. plus they did eventually put mosquito frames on our windows which really only happened after my grandson was eaten alive ! the mosquitoes are dreadful there and I believe the rooms should be sprayed every morning once been cleaned by house keeping plus mosquito spray or lotion should be freely available around the premises ! this is standard procedure in Asia. We shall not return to this area during the warm months again unfortunately due to the mosquitos.

We are repeat visitors to this little gem located right on the shore of the beautiful Chiemsee with fantastic views and local amenities situated within 100 Mt's the Swimming Pool and thermal baths also several bars and restaurants and local water buses for visiting the islands and other shoreline villages...stunning, the hotel rooms, staff and food we're great also onsitee parking , great breakfast....oh and very pet friendly

Nothing to dislike

The lady at the reservation desk was so helpful and friendly. She helped us for early check-in, properly described everything we need to know at the hotel. Breakfast was perfect. There was almost everything that you would want for a breakfast. Room cleaning was good. Even on our last day they clean up the room. The location was suberp. Pier for the island cruises in walking distance.

Vicinity to the highway which makes it a good stop over when traveling longer distance. We stayed one night and everything worked really well. Amazing breakfast and Maximilian steak house is a fantastic restaurant.

The floor of the room was unfortunately incredibly dirty ant the whole room could do with a thorough dusting. That is the only minus to complain about.

The room (I had a single room) was very small and hence quite hard to manoeuvre around! Also, Air-condition would be needed for hotter days or at least a fan.

Situated right on the water and next to the ferry wharf. Breakfast was a large buffet with a huge variety. Large room which contained a desk and kettle, which I personally find important. Easy to check in and staff were so helpful.

The place is a total gem. We came there almost by accident on transit to somewhere else and found a new destination to visit on regular basis. The room was super nice, amazing breakfast, stunning location, and what a value for money!
